Birthday Party

Chapter 25/Grace:

I woke up at 10:45. Huh. They never let me sleep this late unless I stay out late and I went to bed at like 10:00 last night.

I decided o get up and remind them it's my birthday. I threw on a top and some jeans and ran downstairs.

"Hey! Guys it's my..."

Nobody was awake. Or even here for that matter. They all forgot about me, on my birthday. I couldn't believe them! Rude.

Ding dong.

I've been told not to answer the door anymore, whoops. I did anyway, annoyed at my mom and dad. And my lil bro of course. He's been talking about my birthdays non stop and now he forgets.

"Umm hi Sara." I said, awkwardly gesturing her to come inside.

"Hey, umm happy birthday. I'm... Im sorry I got so mad at you for liking..."

"I don't even like the dude, S."

"Who do you like th...."

She was interrupted by my phone, which I picked up right away.

"Hey! Happy birthday!" Zack said.

"You've already said that." I laughed. "Sup?"

"I dunno. Just wanted to talk to you since you're 13."

"Yeppers. You're not the only teen, sir."

Sara raised an eyebrow, smiling. Shut up. I mouthed.

"Yeah, can't make fun of you now. Sad day. Do you wanna stop by the park tomorrow? You can take Buddy and I'll take J."

"Yeah sure! I'd love to. Umm, so my friends kind of here... I'm sorry, I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow."

"Bye GG." He laughed.

"I hate when people call me 'G' or 'GG'. I was given a name for a reason, Zack. Well bye, ZZ." I laughed, hanging up the phone.

"WHO. IS. ZACK?!" She squealed.

"My friend." I said.

"Okay, well Cassie is busy with Iz. For once they're getting along... So I'm your official guide. Here, first let's go shopping and then we'll come back here?"

"Sure." I sighed, thinking she forgot my birthday too. Zack was right, sad.. Sad day.

After shopping, me and Sara were laughing for some reason, when we opened the door to find the rooms dark and the curtains, closed.

All of a sudden, the lights flashed on and I heard a bunch of "SURPRISE"'s being yelled.

"OH MY GOSH." I screamed, trying to run back our before realizing this, I was being thrown a surprise party. "You're kidding me."

"Nope." Sara laughed.

"You were in on this?" She nodded. I looked around. People here were Mom, Dad, Buddy, Grandma, Abigail, Grandpa, Austin, Cassie, Izzy, of course Sara, Selena, Karlie, Cara, Lily, Hailee, Haim Sisters, Gigi, Lena, even Ed and the rest of mom's 'squad'. "Thanks mom, thanks dad."
