Chapter 29, the last chapter/Grace:

I smiled as my little brother kept yelling for me to push him higher on the swings.

Taylor was getting bigger. Four months pregnant! Time flys fast.

After we leave the park, we get to go find out the gender of the baby! I'm so excited to meet my little sibling. Mom already had the names.

If it's a boy, then the name Peter Douglas Swift-Wiles. If it's a girl, Gabriella White Swift-Wiles.

Mom and dad smiled too, then they continued talking about the baby.

At first, Buddy was a little mad and sad. He really didn't like change. But change is good. Change is for the better, I should know that more than anything.

"How was your check-up Grace?" Dad asked.

"Good... Sort of." I said. "They told me it keeps getting worse. They said they can fight the cancer for now and all, but by the time I'm around the age of 20, they don't know if I can make it. If I can, they think around 60, but I dunno. Gotta pass 20 first."

"Grace, I'm so sor...."

"Higher sissy!" Buddy yelled, smiling at me.

"Hey guys, how about we get this show on the road! I don't wanna be late." Mom said.

"Okay." Buddy said, hopping off his swing.

I grabbed his hand, and mom grabbed mine as Adam held hers. We were such a cute family.

We hopped in the car, and I decided to text Cassie.

Grace: C! We're heading home now, so I'll call you when we get back.

Cassie: Good with me bestie. That rhymed. I had that planned for three days. Anyways, bye, ttyl.

I shut off my phone, hopping into the left side of the car.

"I wanna sit in the middle today." Buddy announced.

"B, that's less space for me." I said.

"Too bad, you love me. Plus I'm 3 now and I do what I wanna because I'm a big boy!"

"Okay, fine." I said.

"Let's get this show on the road." Dad announced.

"Guys, you know this new baby could never effect how I feel about you gel, right?" Mom asked, turning back to face us as dad took off.

"I know mom." Buddy said, smiling out the window.

"Yeah, I know mom." I smiled at her. She smiled back, a full smile.

The last full smile I saw in awhile.

The next second, a truck came speeding at us, hitting the right side of the car.

You could hear all of us scream, a scream that lasted less than a second, which the scream turned into silence, a silence that could kill.

And it did...

I dunno what this was, sad....
