Chapter 16:Impel down

Arabella pov
Groggily, I woke up, and found that I was in a jail cell. As I looked around, it took me a moment to realize that I was chained strain-fully to a wall with sea stone hand cuffs. I shook them around, testing to see if they were loose or not, and of course they weren't. My throat felt like the Alabasta desert, whereas my head was pounding.

'Damn...How could I let this happen? I got myself captured...but..where am I? How long have I been in here for? Where...where's Valkiria?'

My thoughts were silenced when I heard people approaching my cell. I looked up with exhausted eyes, and found the infamous Magellan towering over me. His beady eyes stared down at my horrified ones. Next to him, was a man that had a Egyptian style to his attire.

'Oh god...no don't tell me that I'm in Impel Down..!'

"Hey look she's awake!"The Egyptian said.
"Yes, I can see that Hannyabal." Magellan said with a annoyed voice.
I chuckled."Never knew I'd find myself here."
"Of course you would end up here, Russians Doll. Sure you may not have committed the crime of piracy, but you're wanted for a reason. You're wanted because you've killed government officials, wiped out organizations, gotten yourself involved with the Revolutionary army, and you have information about that Poneglyph Commodore Smoker told us about. Thus, that is why your bounty is high, and why you're here today."Magellan said sternly.
"You're gonna die in two weeks!"Hannyabal sang.

I would've talked back, but I know better. I've heard rumors about the Vice Warden. Back before when Magellan was the Warden of this place, I heard that he is one scary fella. He has the ability of Poison. But when he failed to keep the Level 6 inmates from escaping, he was demoted to Vice Warden. Even now, Magellan is still scary.

"Tell me.."I murmured."Where is my sister?"
"Valkiria?"Hannyabal asked."She was lucky enough to escape Vice admiral Smoker, she tried coming back for you, but it was already too late."

'At least Val escaped, better her than me.'

The wardens didn't say anything else, and simply left me alone. I glared at them as they walked away, and suddenly, I could hear the other inmates in their cells. They were all yelling at Hannyabal & Magellan to let them out. But of course, the two wardens just went on like they were in a stroll in the park.

'I'm seriously going to die like this? But...I didn't even get to finish the mission! I didn't even get to tell everyone I love goodbye. I didn't even get to see Sabo again..'

I bit my lip, and repressed the tears that were threatening to spill.

'No way was I going to cry in front of these pirates, I have to be strong. Stronger than glass.'

But all together, that failed as all the tears came out like a waterfall. I sobbed quietly so that no one could hear me. I couldn't get the memories out of my ahead. They were all about Sabo & my time with him.

'Is this what happens when you realize you're about to die?'

I watched as the head of childrens combat rambled on about the kids future, and how they would fit into the system in ten years time. I yawned, and almost felt my eyes droop. I did my best to stay awake, so that I wouldn't appear disrespectful to my peers.

Then suddenly, the door barged open.

"DRAGON-SAMA! I BRING FORTH TERRIBLE NEWS!"

Everyone apart from me watched with a appalled expression as a Dragon-san's Gopher stormed in, and was yelling. Dragon-san watched as his Gopher held out a newspaper towards him.

"What is this about?"Dragon-san asked.
"Its about Miss Moonlight D Arabella!"

Immediately, I stood up, and went to look at the newspaper as well. My eyes went wide as soon as I saw the head cover.

"THE RUSSIAN DOLL HAS BEEN CAPTURED!"
"Moonlight D Arabella, a.k.a:'The Russian Doll' has been captured by Vice admiral Smoker, and is now being held at Impel Down, where she will await her execution (which is to be held at Marineford in two weeks).

The Russian Doll is infamous for infiltrating & killing organizations, murdering government officials & admirals, for being involved with the Revolutionary army, and for discovering a ancient Poneglyph. Luckily, Vice admiral Smoker managed to catch the Doll redhanded with a script from the very Poneglyph.

But, 'The Shining Angel', Moonlight D Valkirka (also a assassin, and the Dolls older sister), was with the Russian Doll the night she found the Poneglyph, and managed to escape. A squad of Marines are hunting her down as we speak.

But for now, let us be happy that Vice admiral Smoker has managed to capture the Russian Doll, and has taken care of one less criminal mind from our peace ridden world.

If you have any information about the whereabouts of the Shining Angel, please immediately contact the Marines, and they'll be there to immediately talk to you."

"MISS MOONLIGHT IS GOING TO BE EXECUTED IN TWO WEEKS!"The Gopher yelled.

Everything around me was breaking & shattering. The tears in my eyes were endless as I stared at the picture of Arabella in front of me. I began to hyperventilate as thoughts about Arabella dead in front of me filled my mind.

"Chief?"

'Oh no-'

But my thoughts were cut off when Sabo let out a loud howl. He was on his knees, crying & yelling. We all went over to him so that we could help him. Someone called a medic, so that we could get Sabo to calm down.

"Sabo! Talk to me!"I urged.

But then, I saw the newspaper article in front of me, and saw the headline. My eyes went wide, and I immediately felt concerned for Sabo.

'Oh no...this is like Ace all over again! Oh god...Arabella-chan..'
