Chapter 60:Proper greetings

Arabella pov
Everyone (apart from Nico Robin) looked between Sabo & I with comically shocked faces.

"WHAAAAAAT?!?!"
I giggled at all of their reactions. "Allow me to properly introduce myself. My name is Moonlight D Arabella," I curtsy. "I feel absolutely happy to meet all of you!"

They were all now muttering things about me, mostly surprisingly good things. Eventually, Luffy jumped straight in front of me, and gave me a big grin.

"Yo, I'm Luffy! I'm gonna be King of the pirates!"

'He's totally different to Dragon-san. The only resemblance I see in those two, is probably the hair.'

I smiled. "Well then, I feel honored to meet the next pirate King."

Once Luffy introduced himself, all of the Straw hats eventually started greeting me. Immediately I already learnt all of their names in a heartbeat.

*small timeskip*

"So are you & Sabo..you know.." Nami asked as we sat on deck.
I nod. "Yeah, tomorrow is our one year anniversary."
Robin smiled. "Oh? How wonderful, Arabella-san. Sabo is a good man."
"Have all of you met Sabo before?" I asked.
"Some of us have," Robin explained. "I worked with the Revolutionary army a couple years back when Bartholomew Kuma had separated us all."

'She must've been there before I raided the base.'

"Wow, thats a long time." I commented with a smile.

Then, Sanji passed us three ladies. "How about a light snack & a drink for our three beautiful ladies?"
We all smiled. "Thank you, Sanji."

He made us all a nice exotic fruit drink with a mint ganache, while our snacks were consisted of handmade strawberry yogurt, some pieces of chocolate & cheese and crackers. Sanji gave us a final wink before whacking Luffy out of the kitchen.

"But Sanjiiiiiiii I'm hungry!" He whined.
"Idiot! You ate all of the ingredients!"
"But Sanjiiiii!"

I chuckled. "Your captain is very persistent."
Nami scowled. "Thats only a understatement." She then looked at me. "By the way, you might want to watch your food when lunch comes around.."
I nod. "Understood. Believe me, Sabo tries to steal my food...so I steal his."
Nami snorted while Robin giggled. "Really?"
"Yeah! Although I think he's starting to learn who's food belongs to whom."

After eating & chatting for a couple of hours, Sanji came back, announcing that lunch was ready. Sabo & Luffy practically raced each other to the kitchen, which amused me till no end. I almost felt sorry for poor Luffy when he got kicked over the head by Sanji.

"Idiot! Save the food for everyone else!"

Sabo & I sat in front of each other. Sanji served us our lunch. We were having chicken Caeser salad, with some jasmine rice. It tasted absolutely amazing.

"That was absolutely amazing, Sanji." I commented.
Sanji had heart eyes & became a lover boy. "Thank you Arabella-chwan~!"
I chuckled. "No Thank you needed."
Sabo coughed awkwardly & loudly. "Yes, thank you Sanji."
"Did you catch a cold, Sabo?" Chopper piped up.
Sabo shook his head. "No, no...I swallowed too fast."

I gave him a weird look, but easily dismissed that strange behavior. As we all chatted, I was slowly starting to get to know all of the Straw hats one by one. Zoro wants to he the best swordsman & is always found either sleeping or training, Nami loves money & tangerines, Ussop is a huge liar, Sanji is a amazing cook & loves any woman he sees, Chopper eats anything sweet & can't really take a compliment, Franky really is a cyborg & can change his hair style, Robin loves history, books & coffee, and finally, Brook is the secondary pervert of the straw hats, and plays beautiful music.

"Tell us about yourself, Arabella." Ussop says.
"Yeah, I wanna know why Sabo loves you so much." Nami said with a grin.
Sabo blushed.

"Well...Before I became known, I was already training to become one of the best assassins out there. I read, I fought, I trained, I even ballet danced so that I'd be so balanced.."
Sabo chuckled. "You forgot the part about you being a beautiful woman that is oh so strong & intelligent."

I rolled my eyes with a giggle. "I'm not as intelligent as Robin though. Anyway I met Sabo because I raided the Revolutionary base for some information on a family artifact. Eventually...we became close, until I finally got captured by the Marines..where we finally told each other of how we felt."

Nami sighed happily. "That sounds absolutely beautiful & romantic!"
Luffy gave Sabo a weird look. "What happened to you? You used to think that girls were icky-BWARD?!"
"SSSHHHH!"
"Wait..." I started to giggle again. "Are you telling me that you used to think that girls were..'icky'?"
Sabo blushed a wild shade of red, causing everyone to start laughing.
"No way!"
"Thats so funny!"

My eyes then flashed cheekily. "And from what I can tell...Luffy thought the same thing?"
Luffy grinned. "Yeah! They still are!"
Nami whacked him over the head. "IDIOT!"
Zoro sweat dropped. "That sounds just like him.."

*timeskip*

Sabo pov
Arabella & I ended up staying the night with the Straw hats. Dragon-san seemed alright with it when we told him what our plans would be, as long as we returned by the day after tomorrow.

I stared out at the sea on the grassy deck. It was a calm night tonight, and everyone was all either asleep, or up in the crows nest. Arabella was asleep in the girls room with Nami & Robin.

I turned when I saw Zoro walk out on deck with some sake in tow.

"Where's Arabella?" He asked.
"Asleep." I answered.
Zoro nods, and chucks me a bottle of sake. "Here, have some."
I grinned. "Thanks."

We stayed out there for a while, drinking & chatting to each other about different things. Until finally, Zoro said something about Arabella.

"So...when are you going to propose?"
I looked at him with shock, then blushed. "H-how did you know that I'm going to propose?"
"I can tell. You both love each other, and have been dating for practically a year by now..why haven't you done it yet?"
"Its never been the right time or place." I explained. "Either that or I didn't have the guts to do it."
Zoro downed his sake in one gulp. "Then make it the right time & place, find the guts to do it. You can keep her waiting forever, Sabo. Do you have the ring with you?"

I nod & take it out.

Zoro smirked upon seeing the ring. "I get this feeling that you both were united by fate. She's gonna love that ring, Sabo."
I smiled nervously. "Thank you. I...I just hope that I can do it."
"Sabo, you can do it. Be confident. If Arabella loves you now, then she'll love you forever."

I stayed silent for a moment, before grinning at Zoro. He chuckled, and we went back to drinking together.

(A/N:Yes you heard right! Sabo might propose to Arabella soon! Gah my thighs are sore..I really need to get into kick boxing. In fact, I should badger my Mum so that I can do kick boxing instead of sitting around and doing nothing. Some of you hate exercise I know, but I wanna get fitter.
