Okay, so this one shot included something that I haven't written before and many people probably haven't read before. It includes a love story involving a Muslim woman, and I was definitely up for it. Hopefully I didn't phrase anything wrong, so if I did, please tell me! But this one is for fashioncreed ! I hope you enjoy! (:

-Khadija's POV-

I adjusted my hijab as I walked into the Lakers office area. Today's my first day working for the Los Angeles Lakers organization, and I'm super excited.

A man came up to me and shook my hand. "Hi, you must be Khadija. I'm Mitch Kupchak, the general manager of the Los Angeles Lakers,"he introduced.

I smiled,"Yes, it's nice to meet you. Thank you for allowing me to work for the organization."

"No problem. You seem like a great person. Come into my office and I'll talk you through everything." I nodded and followed him into a big office.

I sat down in a chair opposite Mitch. He told me how I would be working as basically a kind of babysitter for Jordan Clarkson. Mitch was worried that Jordan was spending too much time with his girlfriend, Kendall Jenner, and not completely focusing what needs to be done.

So it's my job now to manage Jordan's time and make sure he gets to all his events and practices on time.

After we got through all that, Mitch called a meeting with some people to introduce me.

I walked into the room and Jordan Clarkson immediately looked at me. He didn't look away either, just kept staring...

I suddenly felt really self-conscious. Not only was I the only woman in the room, I was also the only woman wearing a hijab.

I decided to push all that aside and just smile at Jordan. He smiled back. Mitch introduced me to everyone as I shook their hands. Then I got to Jordan.

I slowly held out my hand. He shook it, looking deep into my eyes.

Mitch explained,"Jordan, Khadija will be pretty much with you all day, every day. So get to know her." "No problem,"he replied, smiling.

I talked to everyone for a bit before starting to leave. My job doesn't officially start until 3 days later.

"Aye Khadija, wait up!"Jordan called, running up to me. I turned around and faced him. "Yes?"

"How about we get to know each other right now?"he suggested. I smiled, nodding. "Sure. That would be great."

"Okay, how about we go to the carnival going on a few streets down? It'll be a nice date."

My eyes widened as I said,"Uh, no. Not a date. That's against my culture and all and I just-"

Jordan cut me off,"No, it's fine. I meant as in a friendly date. I have a girlfriend anyways so..." I remembered,"Oh, right."

As if on cue, Kendall Jenner walked into the office. "Hey Jordan,"she cooed, placing a kiss on his cheek.

"Who are you?"she asked, looking at me. I know she wasn't trying to be rude, but it seemed like it anyways.

"Hi, I'm Khadija,"I politely said. Jordan explained,"She's going to sort of be my manager from now on. GM said so." I nodded.

"Oh, cool. You free, Jordan? I came to hang out with you,"Kendall said. I bit my lip. Awkward...

Jordan responded,"Uh actually, Khadija and I were gonna go down to the carnival." "Oh, sounds fun. I'll come with,"she smiled. I shrugged,"Okay, that'll be fun."

At the carnival, Jordan was an absolute sweetheart. He was kind and considerate, but also absolutely hilarious. I kind of felt myself fall in love with him. But Kendall was making sure Jordan wasn't being too nice to me.

Paparazzi soon started taking pictures of Jordan. I heard one of them say,"Forget Kendall. Take pictures of Jordan with that Muslim girl. She's beautiful." I blushed, looking down.

Jordan and Kendall also heard the man saying that. Kendall seemed really mad. I heard her say to Jordan,"Let's go. Leave Khadija here by herself."

I looked at the two and mumbled,"I'll be going, I guess." "No, don't leave Khadija. I think Kendall should be the one to leave,"Jordan said.

Kendall stomped her feet, looking quite stupid. "Fine, whatever,"Kendall bitterly spoke before storming away.

The paparazzi saw all of that. They continued taking pictures of Jordan and I.

"You shouldn't have done that. She's your girlfriend,"I said as Jordan and I walked away.

He shrugged. "I just want to spend time with you, Khadija." I found myself blushing, a good old habit of mine.

"You're really cute, you know that?"Jordan commented, making my cheeks go even redder. I looked up at him, shaking my head.

"We can't do this, whatever this is. I'm sorry Jordan,"I mumbled. Jordan took my hands into his. "Khadija, we can make it work,"he insisted.

"I have to go. But I'll talk to you tomorrow,"I quickly said before walking away.

As I went home, my mind kicked into overdrive. What am I going to do? My parents would kill me if they found out what Jordan was saying to me. But they're not with me to tell me what to do and not to do. I think I do like Jordan, but I can't be sure.

The next day, I went to the Lakers practice facility where all the players were.

When Jordan saw me, he ran up to me. "Guess what I did,"he said happily. I furrowed my eyebrows and asked,"What did you do?"

Jordan happily announced,"I broke up with Kendall."

My jaw dropped. "Tell me you're just joking,"I said. Jordan grinned,"I'm not. I actually did."

I hit his arm. "Why'd you do that? You idiot!"

"I told you once and I'll tell you again. We can make this work, you and I. Khadija, I'm finding myself falling for you, really hard. Please give me a chance,"he insisted.

I bit my lip. "I don't know, Jordan. Are you sure you want to be with a Muslim girl?"I questioned.

Jordan immediately answered,"Hell yeah." I couldn't help but laugh a little.

"Okay Jordan, here's the deal. Lets just ease into it, okay? I don't want to rush it, especially since we barely know each other,"I said. Jordan quickly agreed,"Okay, okay. That sounds good. I'm fine with that."

I laughed and leaned up to kiss his cheek. "Okay then,"I said, blushing like crazy.
