Aye, my first Westbrook one shot! My sister loves him so I've gotten used to talking about him. Writing this imagine was fun though. It's for BaileyHebbert 's friend Taylor. I hope you like it! (:

-Taylor's POV-

"Bailey, please help. I'm freaking out,"I begged over the phone.

"Taylor, it's okay. I know you're going on a date with the Russell Westbrook, but don't stress. There's a reason why he wanted to go on a date with you. He likes you, Tay. Don't worry about anything,"my best friend assured.

I rolled my eyes. "You don't understand!"I groaned.

Bailey let out a laugh. "I'm gonna go, Tay. But tell me how the date goes! Good luck!"

Before I could reply, Bailey hung up. I mentally cursed at her. How could my best friend leave me alone in a situation like this. I don't even know what to wear!

I got a text from Russell: Hey Taylor, I'll pick you up in an hour, okay?

I replied: sounds good :) what should i wear?

He quickly texted back, saying: Something casual would be fine.

I rummaged through my closet, not being able to decide what to wear. Russell said the date was a surprise, so he wasn't going to tell me where we were going. That really didn't help the whole outfit situation.

I finally decided on high waisted shorts, a crop top, and a long cardigan. I carefully curled my long hair and did my makeup super cute.

As I was putting on some Converse, I saw a message pop up on my phone. I picked up my phone and read Russell's message out loud to myself. "Call or text me when I should come pick you up."

I texted back: you can pick me up rn actually😊

I gave him my address and soon enough, Russell was knocking on the front door of my house. I quickly grabbed my phone and went downstairs to open the door.

Russell gave me a big smile. "Taylor, you look absolutely beautiful,"he complimented. I blushed a bit, looking at Russell. "Thank you. You look very handsome yourself,"I replied.

He asked,"Ready to go?" I looked around to see if I was forgetting something before saying,"Uh, yeah. Let's go."

Russell linked our arms together before leading me to his car. Our height difference wasn't too drastic. I'm quite tall, so I don't look really short next to a NBA player.

In the car, I asked Russell,"Now can you tell me where we're going?"

Russell glanced at me before turning his attention back to the road, a slight smile on his face. "You'll figure out soon enough,"he answered.

I sat back and just listened to the radio for a bit. After a while, Russell said,"We're almost there."

"Almost where?"I asked.

Russell chuckled. "Almost at the Beyoncé concert,"he finally said.

My jaw dropped. "No way, Russell. No fucking way."

He gave me a grin. "Yes fucking way. I was hoping you were a Beyoncé fan,"he said.

I replied,"Of course I am! Oh my god Russell. This is too amazing."

"Not a big deal. Here we are,"he spoke as he turned into the parking lot for the arena.

As we got out of the car, I exclaimed,"This can't be real life! I'm going to a Beyoncé concert?!" Russell wrapped his arm around my shoulder, laughing. "You're so cute,"he commented, making my cheeks burn.

We made our way inside the arena and Russell took me right to the front row on the floor. As I stood right in front of the main stage, I turned to Russell and just gawked.

He just said,"You're too cute, honestly."

I was speechless. I just turned back to look at the stage again.

"Russell, I know this is our first date and all, but I fucking love you,"I said, hugging him.

He burst out laughing. "The things girls say when you take them to a Beyoncé concert..."

I laughed. "No, but for real... This is incredible and must've cost a fortune,"I said seriously.

Russell shrugged. "Don't sweat it, Tay. Anything for you."

Soon, the lights dimmed and the screaming started. Next came the best two hours of my life. I danced away with Russell, screaming the words to every song. There were a few moments where Beyoncé looked me dead in the eye. I honestly thought I was going to faint.

Russell thought I was the funniest person ever. Glad I could be amusing in his eyes. I just thought I was being a full on mess.

As Beyoncé finished the last song, I screamed,"I love you, Bey!"

She smiled and waved at the crowd. Before she walked off the stage, she blew a kiss right at me. My jaw dropped and I leaned on Russell's shoulder, my knees going weak. "Did you see that?"I asked. Russell chuckled and nodded.

"She's a goddess,"I whispered as Russell and I walked down the aisle to the exit.

"You're so funny, Taylor,"he said for the hundredth time that night. I've never felt so damn funny.

We walked out into the parking lot and a cold breeze hit my body. I started shivering. "Damn, it's cold out here,"I mumbled, rubbing my hands together.

Russell took off his bomber jacket and wrapped it around my shoulders. "Russell, it's okay. I-"

"I know you're cold. No point in arguing,"he responded before opening the car door for me. I sat in the passenger's seat and watched Russell get into the driver's seat.

"Do you want to grab something to eat before I drop you off back home?"he questioned, starting the engine.

I bit my lip. "Ice cream sounds really good right now,"I confessed.

Russell chuckled. "Off to an ice cream shop we go then."

On the drive to get ice cream, Russell and I just sang and danced along to the music playing on the radio. I hadn't laughed so much in my life before. It was so funny.

At the ice cream shop, Russell and I both got our ice cream and sat down to eat.

"This is obviously the best date I've ever been on, but I just wanted to tell you I had an incredible time,"I smiled.

Russell replied,"I'm glad. I really like you, Taylor. And I just wanted to show you how I would treat you if we officially got together." I blushed, eating another spoonful of ice cream.

"You're so sweet. I'm definitely looking forward to a second date. But not as expensive as this one was,"I said.

Russell laughed. "We'll see about that."
