The rest of the week was normal. It was Saturday that got interesting.
I was at the mall to get a new suit jacket when I saw Eliza Schuyler walking by me. I followed her discreetly. She was with Angelica and Peggy.
At one point, they both wanted to go to Hot Topic. Eliza said that she utterly disliked Hot Topic and wanted to go to Forever 21. They went their separate ways.
She went into an elevator to get to the top floor. I went in behind her.
"Oh, hi, Aaron." She said kindly and smiled her beautiful smile.
"Hey." I paused. "Your perfume smells nice. Is it expensive?"
"No."
"Oh."
"You're goin' round the mall in your fancy heels. You lookin' for somethin'?"
"I have a date later, Aaron. That's why I'm wearing them. I'm flattered, really, I am, and I like you as a friend. Sorry. Bye." She said as we got off the elevator.
"With who?" I asked. I already knew the answer.
"Alexander Hamilton."
