It had been a couple of weeks and it seemed like Leonard was starting to become a little like the old self Sara knew on the wave rider. Since Caitlin was busy at Star labs today, Sara had decided to go to Leonard's hideout. "You're leaving already?" He asked sounding somewhat disappointed when she told him she'd be leaving in two days. Sara took a deep breath. She didn't want to leave him when he made so much progress. But it was time for her to get back to Star City. Oliver had called and said they had some progress with Dahrk and Sara wanted to help.
"Yeah. I mean. I have stayed longer than I planned to already. I only wanted to stay long enough to make sure that you would be okay." Leonard shook his head. "You didn't need to stay on my behalf." He muttered. "I know. But I wanted to. Besides. I promised you I'd help remember?" Leonard grinned a little. "I remember. You will be careful right?" He said taking a step close to her. "I always am." She smiled. "Oliver said they have a site where they think Dahrk is..."
"I don't like that you still are going to go after him. I don't know why but he wants you.." Sara nods a little. "I will be fine. Plus there will be Oliver, John and Thea out in the field with me. I won't be alone." Leonard raises his eye slightly at the mention of Oliver. "Oliver?.. Shouldn't that sort of be my job, to protect you?"
Sara smirked a little at his question. "You don't have to worry about me and Oliver. If that's what you're getting at. We have been done for along time. Besides he's with Felicity." "Felicity. The other blonde?" He asked. Sara nodded. "Yes. The other blonde." She laughed. Leonard stayed quiet seeming to think on something. "Let me take you to dinner. For your last day.." Sara raises her eye slightly surprised at his request.
"I.. I think I would like that." She smiled. She saw Leonard smirk back but he was still trying to hide his full blown smile she saw once a couple of weeks ago. "I will see you tonight at seven then?" Leonard asked slowly reaching out to place his hand over hers. She nodded. "Tonight at seven." She felt Leonard give her hand a squeeze not quite wanting to let go of her hand yet he stayed as he was a few minutes, looking almost as if he was debating on something. "Goodbye Sara." He said quietly. "See you later Snart." He finally let go of Sara's hand then watched her exit the hideout.
"Wait." Caitlin laughed. "You're asking me of all people what to wear to go out?" Sara shrugged. "Well. I haven't gone on a date since Oliver and I before the gambit. I'm out of the loop for what's fashion. You've at least..." She stopped mid sentence when she was going to say Ronnie and Jay. Caitlin took a deep breath. "Alright alright. Come on.." Caitlin grabbed her purse and keys. "Where are we going?" Sara asked watching her. "We are going to the mall of course." Caitlin grinned. Sara sighed a little and followed Caitlin out of her apartment.
"What about this one?" Sara asked tiredly for the fifteenth time. Caitlin looked up and smiled wide. "Yes! Oh that looks perfect!" She said as she watched Sara come out in a dress that went to her knees, it was a little low cut but not too showy, the dress was a simple plain red dress. Sara sighed a little. Finally. She thought. She didn't think Caitlin was ever going to agree with her. Once Sara paid for the dress the two girls exited the mall and headed back to Caitlin's apartment.
Leonard grumbled looking through the few clothes he did have. None of them worked well to go on a dinner with Sara. He sighed a little. He would have no choice but to go out shopping for a suit. "Cisco..." He growled entering Star labs. Cisco jumped hearing the familiar cool voice and turned around in his chair. "Snart?" He was surprised to see him here as he didn't come to the lab much these days anymore. "I need your help." Cisco raised his eye slightly unsure if this was some kind of trap. "Wait. The great Captain Cold is asking for my help?" Cisco asked pointing his finger towards himself.
