Luke was on his flight home. It was almost Christmas, and he should be excited, but he's not.
He had to go home to the boy who doesn't want him anymore.
He can remember how in love they were, and now he just wants that back. He wants Michael to tell him he's beautiful and that he loves him.
When he stepped into the airport and got his bags, he saw Karen. He smiled, and hugged her, missing having her to talk to when he needed it the most.
"Michael didn't come?" Luke asked softly, and she gave him a sympathetic look.
"I really missed you." Luke whispered as they walked to the car. "Oh, we're still waiting on someone." Karen said, and Luke furrowed his eyebrows until he saw Harry. "I told him to come too. He's been so good to you, and his family went to Japan for the holidays, and he couldn't go. It's much more affordable to fly him here, and he shouldn't be alone at Christmas." Karen said, and Luke smiled, hugging Harry.
"How did I not see you on the plane?" Luke asked.
"I kept hiding so I could surprise you." Harry said, causing Luke to laugh at him.

They got back to the house, and Luke and Harry had to share the guest room.
"Michael might be uncomfortable with us sharing a bed.." Harry said, and Luke rolled his eyes. "So what? He doesn't want me anymore."
They put their clothes in separate drawers, and Luke finally worked up the courage to walk downstairs and finally see Michael.
Luke stepped into the kitchen with Harry and saw Michael and Karen talking.
Michael turned around, and Luke and Michael locked eyes. Neither of them knew what to say, so Karen spoke up.
"Um, why don't we all sit down for dinner."
"Not hungry." Luke mumbled, and started to walk away but Harry grabbed his arm. "Yes you are." He said, so Luke gave up, sitting across the table from Michael.
"Luke, I'm sorry." Michael whispered as Liz brought out food.
"No I'm sorry." Luke said, and looked down at his lap.
"You have nothing to be sorry for. I'm the one who made out with someone else." Michael said. Turns out, the reason why they broke up is because Michael and Calum made out more than once. Knowing it was both calum and Michael that stabbed him in the back, hurt worse
"I never gave you anything. I'm sorry I thought waiting would be a good idea, but I-" Luke thought if he had just put out, Michael wouldn't have kissed calum. Maybe if they had sex, it would've made Michael want him more. Not calum.
"Now you're just making me feel guilty." Michael said, and Luke looked up.
"No I'm not. I should've thought about what you wanted." Luke said.
Michael rolled his eyes, and that made Harry mad.
"What's your problem?" Harry asked as Karen sat down, confused as to what's going on.
"Do you not see how insecure you've made him? He's not guilt tripping you.." Harry said, becoming angry.
"Harry stop.." Luke whispered.
"No! He's so oblivious!-"
"Please don't." Luke whispered, and Harry sighed. He'd do anything for Luke.
"How was your flight?" Karen asked.
Luke didn't respond. He just kept his eyes on Michael.
"It was good. No delays for once." Harry said, answering for Luke. "Oh, well that's good-"
"After all that's happened, I can't believe you brought him." Michael spat at Luke.
"Your mom told him to come, and I'm glad he did so I don't have to be completely miserable this Christmas." Luke replied.
"I just can't believe you-" Michael started, but Luke cut him off. "What did I do? Remain loyal to you while you went off and cheated on me with my best friend?" Luke said sarcastically.
"I just needed something, okay?! I missed you, and you never put out anyway, so what did you expect?!" Michael yelled.
"What did I expect? I expected you to wait for me. I was gonna give myself to you when I got back. I needed you just as much as you needed me, but I thought of you first. I loved you too much to mess around with other people." Luke cried as Harry and Karen just silently sat there, letting them work their problems out.
"Luke-"
"Now if we ever get back together, I'm gonna have to lay there and think about wether Calum was better than me or not. Sure you didn't sleep with him, but you still wanted him. I can't stand to think of you wanting someone more than you wanted me." Luke cried, and Michael's face dropped.
"I didn't want Calum more than I want you." Michael said between gritted teeth.
"Than why didn't you wait on me?" Luke asked, and Michael had no answer.
"What happened to us? You told me you love me every night before bed, and you always told me I was beautiful even though I looked like a mess. I would always bug you for attention while you played video games, and you would eventually give in. Can you seriously think about everything we've been through, and still not want me?" Luke asked.
"I remember the day we moved here. You were four, and we watched everybody carry boxes into the house for like an hour. I remember when I was 13, I always tried to push you away because I knew I liked you more than I should've. And then when you were seventeen, I kissed you for the first time after I told you I love you. I want you back so bad, Luke, but I can't let you be with me after what I did. You deserve someone so much better." Michael said, causing Luke to shake his head.
"I don't want anyone else." Luke said, and felt his lip start trembling again.
Michael stood up, and shook his head. "Luke, I fucked us up. I lied when I said I didn't want you only because what I did was so horrible, and you need to move on." Michael said, and Luke stood up too.
"I don't want to move on. I want you. I want us back." Luke said, and Michael grabbed Luke's arm, pulling him quickly so he fell against Michael's chest. They let their lips touch for the first time in a long time.
"This is really good spaghetti, Ms. Clifford," Harry said, turning his eyes from the two.
"Why thank you, harry."
