When Luke woke up, it was past 10:30 in the morning.

"Oh my gosh!" He said, rushing out of bed to run downstairs. He furrowed his eye brows when he saw everybody already awake, drinking coffee by the tree.

"Why didn't you guys wake me up?" He asked just as Michael walked into the kitchen. He ran over and sat on the couch, waiting for Michael.

"We wanted to let you sleep after your flight yesterday," Karen said, and Luke sighed.

Michael walked back out and nervously smiled.

"Merry Christmas, baby." Michael said, kissing Luke's head.

"I love you." Luke told him.

"I love you, too." Michael said, pulling Luke onto his lap.

"All of my gifts for you guys haven't come yet, and I couldn't buy all of them in LA and take them on the plane, so they'll be here tomorrow," Luke said, and they all nodded.

"I got you guys something. This is for you Karen. Thank you for letting me stay," Harry said, handing her a small box. She opened it, and she smiled when she saw the beautiful necklace.

"Thank you so much, Harry. It's beautiful. And, you're welcome any time." She said, causing him to smile.

"For you, Michael. I know we don't know each other that well, but Luke talked about you so much that I feel like I've known you for quite a while, so I thought this would be perfect." Harry said, pulling a green day album on vinyl from behind him.

"Dude, that's sick. Thanks man." Michael said, and smiled.

Luke lightly smiled, sitting on Michael's knees.

"Don't think I'd forget you, Luke. You're honestly the best friend I've ever had, and I can't thank you enough." Harry said, getting up, and pulling a huge penguin stuffed animal from behind the couch.

Luke's eyes widened, and he covered his mouth. He ran over and hugged Harry, taking the penguin. "I love it!" He squealed, causing everyone to laugh at his adorableness.

"Harry," Karen said, handing him a box. "It's from me and Michael." She said, and he smiled.

"You guys didn't have to.." He said, but opened the box anyway.

"Even though I hated it, Luke always talked about you, too, and he told me how much you love to write. I was jealous at the time, so I refused to go buy it, but I told my mom exactly what to get." Michael said, and Harry smiled, looking at the leather bound journal. It was beautiful, and Harry absolutely loved it.

"Wow, this is incredible. Thank you guys." He said, and smiled.

"Your guys presents from me are joined, and I want you to open them together." Karen said, handing them a thin box.

"You do the honors, babe." Michael said, watching as Luke excitedly opened the box. He pulled out a pamphlet and opened it, seeing three plane tickets to LA

"Well, gee if you wanted me and Harry to leave that bad you could've just said- wait.." Luke said, looking back down. He smiled when he saw Michael's name written above one of the tickets.

"No way!" Luke shouted, and hugged Michael's neck. Luke kissed the side of Michael's head, smiling. "You're gonna get to live with me!" Luke said, and turned to Karen. He got up and ran over to her, giving her a hug.

When he turned around to go back to Michael, the black haired boy was down on one knee. Luke covered his mouth, and felt his eyes well up with tears.

"Luke, when I gave you that promise ring, I told you I was going to marry you one day. I told you I would never quit loving you, and that I would always be there. I know I've faltered and I've made mistakes, but I know nothing can keep us from being so strong. I am so madly, deeply, and desperately in love with you, and I can't go another day without asking you to be mine forever. So, Luke Robert Hemmings, will you marry me?"

He nodded quickly, not trusting his mouth to speak. Michael smiled, and got up, hugging Luke tightly.

Karen was in tears and Harry was smiling widely, taking pictures for Karen.

"I promise to love you forever."

"Kiss another guy and I'm throwing this ring in the ocean." Luke whispered
