Blake arrived before Makenna did. When Makenna stepped onto the bowling floor in her size 7 shoes, I sumoned her to our team, forcing Blake onto Sean's team. She was wearing a red t-shirt reading Summer Vibes, pared with shorts and a jeanjacket.
"Looking cute." I commented.
"You too." She smiled.
I was glad when it was her turn, and she bowled going right into the gutter. I'm no longer the only crapy bowler here.
"I can help you next turn, with your skills." Jacy spoke to her, as she returned, letting Jordan take his turn.
"Why sure." She said.
When will those two just get together? Of course without my help. I don't want the same incodent that happened the last time I tried paring her with Marcus.
"Did you hear that?" She asked me, coming over and taking a seat beside me.
"Of course!" I squiled.
"You easdropper." She teased, laughing.
My eyes landed on Kale as I noticed him having a conversation with Lucaus. I wonder what their saying. Could it possibly be about me?
"So what exactly happened?" Makenna asked.
"What do you mean?"
"You and Kale were supposed to go on a date." She says.
"The worker didn't want to open a whole other lane, sense it was just us two, so he put us on lane 5 with these guys." I explain, gesturing towards the guys.
"To bad." She laughs. "Do you like Kale?" She asks.
"Ahh... I don't know." I say.
"Or is it Noah? What even happened between you two? I just remember you and Kale being all cute around each other, then Noah came into the picture."
"Uh..."
"You can't avoid my questions forever." She flicks my nose.
"I do like Kale," I begin. "I remember when I first met Noah, he seemed cool. But then at the party, he was acting weird, like I was his girl or something. Then I saw Kale mouth swabing with Sasha. Which kind of set off a bomb inside me. And I guess one thing lead to another, Noah and I started kissing. Then a few days or weeks later, I was with Noah and we went to his house, and I met his dad." I start telling her everything.
"Oh my god!" She looks at me with a shocked face. "Your dad and Noahs dad knew each other!"
"Apperanlty."
"We need to figure out this shirade, and find out who your father really was." Makenna explains.
"I don't know, or care about him for that matter."
After chithating with Makenna it was finally my turn. I got up from my seat, which got replaced by Jacy, as soon as I walked off. I half smiled at Makenna, as I sulked up to the line. Grabbing the ball from the stand, I swung my arm back and was about to let go, as my arm swung in front of me, but I was interrupted by Lucaus.
"Let me show you how its done." He said, coming over, placing a hand on my arm with the ball in hand, and his other hand on my waist. "The magic all happens with the right movement."
He kept his hands position on me, causing my stomach to churl. Is it bad to feel uncomfortable right now? I could feel a pair of bronze eyes staring at me.
I could hear Lucaus trying to explain to me, how to knock down the pins, and not go into the gutter. However, his words went in my ear and out the other. My attention was focused on Kale. As I looked forward, I pictured him watching me with his arms crossed. I turned my head to look, and sure enough he stood with his arms crossed. Our eyes locked gaze, but he broke the stare by picking up a bowling ball. Afterall it was his turn too. I could hear the force of the bowling ball smash down onto the floor, rolling towards the pins. With a loud crash, the pins fell.
