After finishing off the pizza with the gang, everyone left with full satisfied tummys. Like Kale said before, we went to his house to watch a movie. When we arrived at his house, memories from the last time I was here, brewed inside my minnd.
"Jane? Jane?" A scared voice came from the male on the TV. Some how, Kale persuaded me to watch a horror film. It makes me feel stupid every time I jump from my seat, when something unexpectedly pops out. I get the feeling Kale thinks I'm a scardycat.
The male on the TV, began to run through the woods, looking for his beloved Jane. He stumbled on his feet, crashing to the forest's floor.
It was obvious the killer would pop out soon, murdering the male. Even though I know its coming, I would still end up screaming and jumping.
And it happened. The brutal serial killer came in from behind the poor guy, scaring the wits out of me, as he slit the males throuat. I probably would have jumped so high, smashing my head into the roof if it weren't for Kale's arm around me, holding me down. know that I think about it, when did he put his arm around me?
My face burns a deep red, as I picture his arm around me. The awkward tension I'm feeling, only makes me want to adjust in my seat, and bring my knees up to my chest, but if I do so, it could disturbed his peace and he would get the feeling I'm uncomfortable. Which don't get me wrong, I'm not. I'm as comfortable as a baby in his cradle.
"If your to scared to watch the film we can do something else." Kale takes his eyes off the screen, as he speaks. He must have felt me tense up.
"Ahh... What do you have in mind?" I ask. Please don't be something dirty teens would do. We haven't even had a proper date yet. Okay, yes today was supposed to be a date, but with everyone there, it didn't feel like a date, nor did it have to projectile of a date. And even just watching this movie. Its more of "hanging out" then a date.
"A midnight stroll." He suggested, wiggling his eyebrows at me, as if to seduce me into the idea.
"Where to?"
"Your place."
"But thats such a long walk. And plus, its cold out and dark. Some guy could jump out and slit our throats." I whined, rambling off.
"Like Jack the ripper?" He scoffed.
"Whaa?" I was so lost and confused by his remark, and to focused on wanting to slap that smug look off his face, to actually think about Jack the ripper. Wasn't he some guy who murdered woman back in the 18th century, somewhere in London?
"He seduced prostitutes, then slit their throats. He was never captured however." Kale said, summing up the basics of Jack. "However, we aren't prostitutes and its not the 18th centurie, so were good."
"Okay, okay!" I surrender. No matter how lazy I feel, Kale has found a way to get raid of my laziness. A walk that could take longer then a half hour.
Kale ejects the DVD from the TV, putting it away back in its case, before shutting off the TV. We head to the door putting on our shoes and coats, (which I do not have).
"Here." Kale held up a trench coat, offering to me. "You can wear this. It belongs to one of my many collections of jackets, but as you can tell, I don't wear trench coats, so keep it if it'll be worn."
He was right. Trench coats aren't his style, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't look good on him. In fact, I think it would look amazing on him, if he weren't so stubborn.
"Are you sure? Cause this would look fabulous on you!" I hold up the trench coat to his body, trying to picture him in it.
"One hundred percent!" He pushed it away, slipping his arms into the sleeves of his leather jacket.
