Audi picked up her green kavu bag and placed everything she needed in order to go to work inside. She slipped her sunglasses onto her head and pulled her hair into her normal, curly ponytail, sighing as the frizz made it look untamable. Once her bag was pulled over her back, she said goodbye to Ashley and Ava, heading to the parking garage to retrieve her white jeep from her designated parking spot on the second floor.
Once she closed the door, setting her belongings in the passenger seat, she turned her key and started the engine, the clock showing the time above her car radio.
7:14pm.
Shaking her head to try and forget that she wouldn't be able to go pick up Phil, she backed up from her spot, and started her drive to work.
Thank god her phone was connected to Bluetooth so she could distract herself from her emotions of the excitement and disappointment of Phil's plane landing. She focused on the lyrics of Heathens by twenty one pilots and after that, Drive by Glades. She sung her heart out as the wind ripped through her hair, giving her the amazing feeling of being free. She turned up her radio as the familiar "is anyone there?" from Sad Machine sounded from the speakers. It was ironic how a song called Sad Machine gave her so much happiness. It was also the song that she was listening to when Phil told her that he was coming to Miami only a month ago. And just like that, her emotions washed upon her again and she had to change the song to River by Bishop Briggs.

"Hi, welcome in!" She smiled at a little boy with blonde hair who was pulling his mother towards the icecream counter.
"Can I have a big cup of superman icecream?"
"Tyler, where's your manners?"
"Please?" The boy smiled innocently as she warmed up her icecream scoop.
"And can we make that a small cup please?"
Audi nodded at the mother, "of course, no problem."
The little boy frowned at his mother and crossed his arms as his she ignored him and shuffled through her purse for her money.
Audi put two large scoops into the paper container and carried it to the register, ringing up the purchase. "And will this be all for you tonight?"
The mother nodded.
"Okay, your total is three dollars and sixty-seven cents, would you like a receipt?"
"No thank you."
The mother handed her the bills and Audi counted the change, setting the thirty-three cents into her hands, and sliding the cup to the little boy, "thank you, have a great rest of your night."
"You too," the mother smiled as the little boy took a huge bite.
It was now 9:25, and the shop was its usual silent as the family left, letting Audi and Joe have their music time.
Joe nodded his head to the beat of the song playing, a song Audi had never heard before. She pulled out her phone and clicked the grey and white imvu app at the bottom of her screen, seeing Phil never responded to her message about not being able to pick him up. Could he be mad at her?
