Audi slowly clicked out of imvu and closed the screen of her laptop, staring at the wall in front of her. Her eyes caught the pictures from her and Dan's date and she felt overwhelmed confusion with what was and could be happening.
There were footsteps down the hall outside her bedroom door and she knew they were Ashley's by the way they were heavier and slower than Ava's.
"Audi.." she said slowly taking in Audi's slumped form. "You need to listen to me-"
"I want you to tell me everything you know and have been keeping from me," she snapped in Ashley's direction.
Usually there was a constant sound of music or tv show playing in the background of their apartment but at the moment there wasn't, leaving a quiet and dark atmosphere from the overcast from outside.
"Last week," Ashley breathed with Dan's threat in the back of her mind. "I knew that you needed answers so I kept pushing him and trying to get him to reply to messages and invites and eventually he did."
Audi watched as the air conditioner kicked on and the film strip fluttered up and showed Dan's writing.

"He was vain and defensive whenever I would ask him a question. He wouldn't tell me anything."
Audi nodded.
"After a while, he got so mad at me that I guess he just cracked and told me he was sick, that he wasn't okay..." she trailed off and looked over to Audi who had begun to cry from her emotions. "Are you okay?"
"No I'm not okay, I just found out so much information that I didn't know. I don't know how to feel, I don't know how to act, I don't know what to say."
It was quiet.
Ashley sighed and spoke one sentence before closing the door and walking back to her room, "I think you should go."
