When Audi woke up, she was partially laying on Dan's chest that softly rose and fell under her palm. He was sprawled on his back, the sheets barely covering his waist. He was beautiful despite the tiny wheezes along with his snores. His hair curled and fell over his forehead, almost touching his long eyelashes. He was pale from sleep and the light coming from the crack in the door cast a shadow that made his face glow.
She'd never thought she'd seen anything so fragile be so perfect.
