Audi and Phil started off their night with awkward giggles and smiles that soon blossomed into real laughs and jokes as if this wasn't the first time they'd heard each other's voices and Phil seen Audi's face.

Margaret let Audi and Joe have the rest of the night off after she'd walked in to see Audi hanging off of a customer with a huge smile on her face. She told them it was no problem, as she was sure no one would be coming in this late.

Audi found herself in her jeep, Phil in the passenger side, driving to her apartment to go and surprise him to her roommates, who had no idea who was coming. They knew he was, just no idea when.
"How did you know where I was?"

"I asked Ava after I got your message. I wanted to surprise you."

"Well you definitely surprised me."

Phil smiled a big smile, turning to face back to the road ahead of them.

"I'm still confused how you came in so early."

"My plane landed about thirty minutes early, I don't even know how the landing times were that bad..."

"And didn't you come here with your brother? What's he doing?"

"Oh Martyn? I don't know.. I'm shocked he hasn't called me hundreds of times to make sure I haven't been taken or some crazy shit." His black fringe fell over his eyes and he pushed it away, taking a small bite of his icecream. "And thanks for this, I didn't expect I'd get this for free."

"Don't worry about it, you deserve it anyways.."

They continued to talk until they were parked in the familiar parking space on the second floor, finding the elevator to head up to the apartment. Once they'd gotten to the door, Audi pulled out her keys and unlocked it, entering into a surprisingly clean living room.

"They're probably upstairs, and ignore the mess..."

He looked around and pointed around, "I see nothing messy, teach me your ways."

"Okay," she got close to his ear, "it's called make the living room look nice and anything behind a closed door natural."

He laughed and pushed her away, "well it looks like it works."

"It worked on you. Now come on." She grabbed his wrist, pulling him through the hall to the spiral staircase that led to the bedrooms.

As they ascended the cold metal staircase, the sound of static and bass pounded from Ashley's room.

"What the hell is happening in there?"

"Let's find out." Audi threw open the door to Ashley's dark room, resulting in two loud screams from Ashley and Ava, and a pillow being thrown at Audi's head.

Audi threw the pillow back at the bed, "Oh hell, okay, chill!"

"Audi? You're home early." Ashley said, pausing the horror movie on the tv.

"Yeah- OH MY GOD ITS RIGHT BEHIND YOU!" Ava screamed, pushing Ashley off the bed and hiding under a blanket.

Audi sighed, pulling Phil into the doorway beside her, flicking on the lights. "You're all idiots."

Ashley looked up and made a pleased face, smoothing her long hair out of her face and walking up to the black haired boy in her room. "Oh hey there, you Audi's friend?"

"Audi brought a boy home? What the hell is happening?"

"Ava shut up."

Ashley continued to walk towards a flustered looking Phil, a smirk on her face. "So, what's your name, cutie?"

"Phil."

Audi accidentally snorted, hiding her face in the sleeve of Phil's shirt  as she laughed. Ashley's expression changing so fast to embarrassment.

"Oh shit... Well... Welcome to Miami.." Was all she could say before the usually snarky and confident girl was hiding her face and laughing at herself. Ava laughing from her spot under the blanket. And soon, everyone was laughing, and having a good time getting to know Phil as if he was an old friend.

Before they knew it, it was 1:00am and Audi was driving Phil to his hotel, the cool wind whipping through their hair. Once they arrived, Audi unlocked the doors and said her goodbye, suddenly getting caught off guard by Phil leaning over the center console and hugging her.

"Goodnight Audi."

"Goodnight Phil."

"I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Yeah. The fireworks for the Fourth of July are tomorrow night, so for sure."

Phil smiled, letting go and getting out, "thank you."

"No problem, now close the door before I fall asleep right now."

They both let out small laughs and Phil closed the door, waving a goodbye before walking into the lobby of his hotel. Audi sighed as she put her jeep into drive and slowly drove out of the hotel parking lot with a small smile etched onto her face.

She was happy.

As Phil hit the elevator button for the seventh floor, he shook his head at his reflection, the same smile on his face.

And he was happy.
