It was a wonderful day today. I have not had a care in the world to do the project Cam assigned. We were going on a date. Our first date.

He said it was crucial we went to a secluded place because his job. I understood but I couldn't help but feel like there was something more.

I shrugged off the thought and was grateful to have a man in my life. A sweet man.

A grown man. I have high hopes for Cameron. He makes me happy seeing him and I am finally going to get to know him more. I want to know who the real Cameron is. My Cameron.

The guy I was certain will take my heart and cherish it.

We were at a nice restaurant out of town. It was safer this way.

"Tell me about yourself Cam." I smiled. He rose his eyebrow and sighed.

"I'm a high school teacher, I'm dating the most beautiful girl. That's pretty much it." He said. I blushed at the sound of him calling me the most beautiful girl.

"You really think I am beautiful?" I asked, smiling.

Shit. Shit. She thought I meant her. I forgot I was even with her! I was thinking about Bella. Oh God, Bella was gorgeous. She had me wrapped around her finger so tightly.

"Of course Auni." I lied. I saw the twinkle in her eye and I almost felt bad. Almost.

We spent most of the night talking about ourselves and getting to know each other. Oh man, I would be lying if I said I wasn't having a good time. I liked hanging out with her. Only as a friend. I hope she'll understand that soon enough.

He was far more dreamy than I imagined. I thought we were having a good time until I looked at him. He looked as if he was lost in thought. Like he was regretting this date.

I couldn't help but feel a pang of hurt in my heart. I know damn well Cameron wouldn't ever treat me less than he would treat any other girl.

I trust him.
