Part 3: The New Home and The Salty Pearl

Regular POV

The warp pad's light just faded away and revealed that Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, Purple Fluorite, and Steven were standing on it in the middle of Steven's room.

Steven ran off the warp pad, dragging Purple Fluorite with him. She was a little annoyed but just let him do what he wanted.

"This is my room! I'm sure we're gonna play lots of fun games and watch a lot of cartoons together! Let's play checkers!" Steven said, starry eyed and excited.

Purple Fluorite didn't know what this "Checkers" was but before she could even respond, Pearl spoke up.

"Steven, you two can play Checkers later. I need to show her where she will be saying." Pearl said, trying to act like she was okay with what was happening.

"Awwww okay. I'll see you later Purple Fluorite!" Steven said, leaving the house to go to the Big Donut.

"Purple Fluorite. Can you please come with me?" Pearl asked, trying to be polite.

Purple Fluorite nodded her head and went up to Pearl. Pearl walked up to the temple door, Purple Fluorite following, and made her door open.

"Come on in..." Pearl said, her voice getting lower.

They walked inside and as soon as the door closed, Pearl slammed Purple Fluorite against the door with her hands by Purple Fluorite's head so she couldn't escape.

"Now listen here, I don't know why you're here but if you make one wrong move, I will poof and bubble you so fast you won't even know what hit you. Got it?" Pearl threatened, scaring Purple Fluorite.

She quickly nodded her head, shaking a lot. Pearl backed up and scoffed.

"Quit being such a scaredy cat. I didn't even hurt you."

"C-Can I g-go n-now...?" Purple Fluorite managed to stutter out.

"Sure.." Pearl muttered, making the door open.

Purple Fluorite quickly left the room, the door closing behind her, and took a couple of breaths.

"That Pearl is terrifying... but so beautiful..." She said, smiling to herself.

Then she looked up and saw a shocked Amethyst in the kitchen.

"DO YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON PEARL?!" Amethyst yelled.

Purple Fluorite blushed a dark purple.

"Y-You heard me?!" She exclaimed, shocked.

"How could I not?! You weren't that far from me." Amethyst casually said. "Now answer the question, do you have a crush on Pearl?"

"M-Maybe... yes I do. But don't tell her! I don't think she likes me at all." Purple Fluorite said, looking a little sad.

"I don't think she doesn't like you. I think she just doesn't trust you yet. I mean, we literally met an hour ago. You can't expect love at first sight. Just give it time. P will come around." Amethyst said, smiling.

"Oh... well thanks for talking with me. I would think you wouldn't trust me either." Purple Fluorite said, a little confused.

"Eh... I'm over not trusting you. You haven't tried to kill us and you seem nice. So I'm willing to be friends." Amethyst said, turning around.

"Alright." She said, smiling. "What are you doing?"

"Making a sandwich! I do this thing called eating and it's really fun! You chew this stuff up in your mouth, swallow it, then it goes through your body. Try it!" Amethyst said, handing her the sandwich.

"Uh... I don't know... seems kinda gross..." Purple Fluorite said, looking a little grossed out.

"Just try it! Jeez... you kinda act like Pearl." Amethyst said.

Purple Fluorite took the sandwich and took a bite. She chewed for a few seconds before her eyes widening and swallowing the bite.

"This is... amazing! Eating is so cool! Plus this sandwich thing tastes good!" She said, happily taking another bite.

"See? It sounds gross but it feels kinda good. Now can I have my sandwich back?" Amethyst asked, holding her hand out.

"Huh? Oh! Yeah, sorry. I forgot that it was yours." Purple Fluorite said, handing it back and swallowing the bite she had.

Pearl then came out of her room and looked at Amethyst and Purple Fluorite.

"What are you two doing?" Pearl asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I'm teach Purple Fluorite about eating." Amethyst said, putting the whole sandwich in her mouth and eating it.

"Eating seems very interesting." Purple Fluorite said, blushing some.

Pearl made a disgusted face but then raised an eyebrow again.

"Why are you blushing?"

"H-huh?! O-Oh! I'm just really hot! Yeah! I just need to cool off! Heh heh..." Purple Fluorite said, laughing nervously.

"O-kay?" Pearl said, still confused.

"uh.. Come on PF! I wanna show you something!" Amethyst said, pushing her towards the temple door.

Amethyst quickly opened the door and pushed Purple Fluorite into her room, quickly following behind her.

"Those two are weird..." Pearl said, being confused but shrugging it off.

Pearl then went to go clean dishes.
