I Need You (Pearl X OC) [Under Construction]

Part 10:The Thinking and The Choice

Purple Fluorite had been on Mask Island for 2 weeks. She was avoiding the current situation and was struggling to make a decision.

She had to hide a couple times from Pearl and Amethyst, who warped to Mask Island and were looking for her.

Purple Fluorite sighed after she watched Pearl go away.

"That's the fifth time today that shes come here. I understand they want an answer but it's hard to choose. Pearl is the one I originally loved, but Amethyst got me to fall for her after our date. Ugh! I wish I knew what to do!" Purple Fluorite exclaimed, picking up and throwing a pebble towards the warp pad.

The warp pad activated while the pebble was flying towards it. Garnet was suddenly standing on the warp pad and caught the pebble.

"G-Garnet!"

"Hello Purple Fluorite. Nice to see you again." Garnet said.

"H-How did you find me...?" Purple Fluorite asked, nervously.

"I already knew you were here. I saw it with my future vision." Garnet explained. "I also know why you're here. You're hiding from Amethyst and Pearl, trying to choose who you want to be with."

"U-Uh..." Purple Fluorite was speechless by the fact that Garnet knew everything.

"So what are you going to do? Are you gonna tell them where I am? Or are you here to yell at me?" Purple Fluorite asked, sighing.

"Neither. I'm here to give some advice. I'm sure you're hiding so Pearl and Amethyst can't influence you're decision. But you need to give an answer soon. Pearl and Amethyst are going nuts. Constantly fighting with each other and wondering when you're gonna come back." Garnet explained, adjusting her glasses.

"I can understand the fact that they are restless about the situation but I have no clue on who to choose! I want to be with them both but it wouldn't work because of their different personalities. Plus I don't think they would want to share..." Purple Fluorite said, sighing. "What should I do...?"

"My advice is to follow your heart. You know that their is one you want to be with more. You're just scared of hurting the other one." Garnet said. "Now I'm heading back to the temple. I'll make Pearl and Amethyst wait at the temple for your arrival."

Garnet walked off, not waiting for a response, and warped back to the temple.

Purple Fluorite sighed because she knew Garnet was right. She was worried about hurting one of them. She wished she could make everyone happy, but she couldn't make them keep waiting. She had to give them an answer.

She soon warped into the temple and saw Pearl and Amethyst look up to see her.

"You're here!" Pearl exclaimed, smiling.

"You finally got an answer? Took you long enough." Amethyst joked, smiling aswell.

"Haha yeah... now you two... I wish that I could choose both of you but I know you two don't want that. So I'm forced to choose one. Now understand that I don't want to hurt anyone. I want everyone to be happy." Purple Fluorite explained, being serious. "Do you both understand?"

They both nodded their heads.

"Alright... now can you both please promise me that I won't get yelled at for my decision?"

"I promise not to get upset over your decision." Pearl said, raising her hand like she was taking an oath.

"I promise." Amethyst said, smiling.

"Okay... Now... Amethyst, our date was amazing and I know a lot about you. But our personalities are pretty different. You're brash and impulsive and I would probably yell at you for it." Purple Fluorite said, then turned to Pearl. "Pearl... I don't know much about you and you also hurt me. But I know it wasn't on purpose. You were conflicted with your feelings for Rose and me. You were probably worried that you were betraying Rose. Our personalities match really well and I'm sure if you took me out, it would be a fun date."

Pearl and Amethyst were listening intensely. Trying to figure out on who she would pick.

"Once again, please understand that I don't want to hurt either one of you. But the person I choose is..."

Pearl and Amethyst were on the edge of their seats.

"Pearl."
