Part 5: The Mission and The Surprise

((Hey guys! Just wanted to tell you that Purple Fluorite can levitate and has telekinesis.))

Regular POV

Purple Fluorite finished meditating, put her feet back on the ground, and opened her eyes. She looked around and was extremely confused.

"Where am I...?" She said, looking around.

"You're in my room." Pearl said, as she walked in. "What were you doing all night?"

"I was meditating. I often levitate while I do it. It helps relax me and makes stress go away." Purple Fluorite explained, smiling and hiding her blush. "You should try it!"

"Maybe later but as for now, Garnet is making all of us go on a mission. Your job is going to be protecting Steven, since you don't fight. Now let's go." Pearl said, walking out of the room towards the warp pad.

Purple Fluorite quickly followed and everyone soon warped out of Steven's room and to the gem battlefield.

Purple Fluorite was once again amazed by the site. But soon was scared by the gem monster in front of them.

It was very tall, about 9 feet, and it was blue. It looked hostile and kinda like a giant worm with a spike on both ends.

((Imagine a giant blue weedle. But with just eyes.))

It immediately went to attack Garnet. Garnet quickly got her gauntlets and punched it back. Pearl and Amethyst quickly pulled out their weapons and started to help Garnet.

Purple Fluorite was scared but was making sure Steven was safe. She watched the fight, hoping everyone would be alright.

Pearl threw her spear at one of the gem monsters eyes and was quickly getting another one. The monster screeched in pain and quickly charged at Pearl, running her over.

"PEARL!" Everyone screamed, Amethyst and Garnet trying to get it away from her.

Steven and Purple Fluorite ran over to Pearl, Purple Fluorite holding her up in her arms.

"Pearl!" Steven said, crying.

"I-Ill be o-okay Steven..." Pearl muttered weakly, before proofing back into her gem.

"Noooooo!" Steven shouted, crying hard.

Purple Fluorite was silent while she held Pearls gem. Her hair started to grow black stripes and her outfit changed.

"Purple Fluorite...?" Steven said, between hiccups.

"Hold onto her gem Steven." She said, giving it to him and looking up. Her brown eyes were now black. "I've got business to take care of." She muttered, with a angry look on her face.

She stood up and her outfit now was black leather pants with a black lace buckle corset and black combat boots.

Her eyes and gem started to glow and a bunch of strawberries started to launch at the monster. The monster screeched and started running towards her. She quickly jumped out of the way and pulled out a black katana, running towards it and jumping onto its back. She quickly climbed up its back and stabbed it right in the top of its head.

No one could see the blade and the monster quickly screeched, retreating to its gem.

Purple Fluorite landed on her feet and bubbled the gem left behind. She sent it to the temple and made her katana go away.

Garnet, Amethyst, and Steven were speechless.

They were surprised by how strong she was and on how she had a dark side that would make her release all her anger.

Garnet and Steven were surprised by how it got triggered by Pearl getting hurt, making them realized that Purple Fluorite loved Pearl.

They soon got out of their shock and walked up to Purple Fluorite, who had been standing really still.

"Way to go PF! You wrecked that monster! Good job!" Amethyst said, trying to calm her down a bit.

"Yes, good job Purple Fluorite." Garnet said, adjusting her shades.

Purple Fluorite didn't say anything and still didn't move. Her hair was turning back to its normal violet color and her dress returned.

She then quickly fell on the ground, passed out.
