Part 6: The Regeneration and The Reveal

Regular POV

It's been two weeks since the incident. Pearl was still in her gem and, strangely, Purple Fluorite was still passed out.

Garnet, Amethyst, and Steven were all worried about the fact that Purple Fluorite was still passed out. They were also worried about Pearl, but they knew she would come back soon. A gem had never been passed out for so long before.

"Garnet... do you think they are okay? When will Pearl come back? Will Purple Fluorite ever wake up?" Steven asked, a worried look on his face.

"Pearl will be back soon, Steven." Garnet said, calmly. "I'm sure Purple Fluorite will wake up at some point. It'll just take time."

"Okay..." Steven muttered, looking at Pearls gem, that he had resting on a pillow, and Purple Fluorite, who was laying on the couch.

Amethyst then came out of her room and saw them, still not up.

"They're still not up? Wow they are taking a long time..." Amethyst said, sighing.

Amethyst was worried about Purple Fluorite. She missed talking with her and giving her advice. She missed her smile and her brown eyes.

Amethyst then realized, she loved Purple Fluorite. She didn't want to cause she knew Purple Fluorite loved Pearl, but she couldn't help it.

She then quit thinking about it and saw that Pearl was coming back.

"PEARL'S COMING BACK!" Steven yelled, excitedly.

Pearl took form and landed on the floor. She hadn't changed anything about herself.

"Now that's better." Pearl said, smiling.

Steven then hugged her and smiled.

"Welcome back!" Steven said, happily.

"Welcome back P." Amethyst said, giving a small smile.

"Welcome back Pearl." Garnet said, giving her a thumbs up.

"Thanks. Where's Purple Fluorite?" Pearl asked, confused. "Did she leave?"

They all just looked behind Pearl and Pearl turned around, gasping.

"What happened?!" Pearl exclaimed.

"She poofed and bubbled the monster after you got poofed." Garnet said.

"But she said she hated fighting." Pearl muttered. "So did she get hurt while fighting the monster?"

"No. She was fine. We found out that she has a dark side that will come out when she gets angry. After she took care of the monster, she passed out and hasn't woken up yet. We don't know when she will wake up." Garnet explained. "We were hoping she would wake up after you came back."

"Oh my... I would've never thought that she could have a dark side..." Pearl muttered. "I wonder why it got triggered after I got poofed.."

Amethyst, Garnet, and Steven all looked at each other. Pearl then looked confused.

"What?" Pearl said, confused and looking at all of them.

"You getting poofed triggered Purple Fluorite's dark side because Purple Fluorite loves you. It upset her that you got so hurt that you had to go back inside your gem." Amethyst said, while looking at the floor.

Pearl blushed and looked at Purple Fluorite.

"She loves me...? Why?" Pearl muttered, shocked at this news.

"She's liked you from when she first saw you. She thought you were pretty and cool." Amethyst said, still not looking at her.

"Oh my... I don't know how I feel about this..." Pearl said, walking towards her door. "I'm gonna be in my room."

It's been a week now and Purple Fluorite was still asleep. She hadn't moved either. Amethyst grew even more worried and Pearl was a little worried as well.

"Come on Gems, time for a mission." Garnet announced, heading towards the warp pad.

"But what about Purple Fluorite? She still hasn't woken up! What if something tries to attack her?" Steven asked, worried.

"She'll be fine. Nothing has happened to the temple while we were gone before, I'm sure she will be okay while we are gone. Now let's go." Garnet said.

Everyone was on the warp and left the temple, leaving Purple Fluorite passed out on the couch.

It had been 3 hours and the gems were finally returning back to the temple. They were happy that the mission was a success.

They soon warped into the temple and we're surprised.

"Welcome back." Purple Fluorite said, smiling at them.

She was just sitting on the couch, reading one of Steven's books, not even caring that she had been passed out for 3 weeks.

"You're awake!" Steven said, running over to her and hugging her.

"Yes I am. I can see you missed me too." She said, giggling a bit.

"Welcome back!" Amethyst said, walking over and smacking her back a couple times, resisting from kissing her.

"Oof! Aha thanks." Purple Fluorite said, rubbing her back a bit.

"Welcome back." Garnet said, calmly. "I have questions for you when you have a minute."

"Thanks and okay." She said, smiling.

Pearl didn't say anything or look at her. She just left and went to her room.

Purple Fluorite looked at Pearl and blushed, wondering why she wouldn't look at her. It saddened her that Pearl didn't say anything to her.

Amethyst realized this and wish she could just tell her to forget about Pearl and be with her. But she was scared of being rejected.
