Thea was freaking the fuck out.
I invited her for a night out, and Luke invited Calum. Currently, she stood flinging clothes from her closet, as I perched myself on her bed.
"What do I...what do I wear? Is this casual or fancy? Is pink to girly?"
I suppressed a laugh. "Thea you don't need to be so worked up about this."
Suddenly a high heel flew passed my head. I fake gasped as I realized she was throwing a tantrum.
"Would you stop trying to calm me down? Calum needs to be in awe of me okay! I need to look so good he'll forget his own name."
"You always look that good." I mumbled, dodging another flying shoe.
Finally she pulled out a baby pink halter dress, and thigh high boots,
"Whatcha think?"
"Perfect." I grinned approvingly.
"Really? I won't be overdressed?"
"Haven't you always said: 'it is better to overdo it than under do it?"
She nodded. "Okay pick something out for yourself."
Thea had a much better fashion sense than I did. So naturally I was going to borrow something from her closet.
I found an oversized "The Who" t-shirt. It had to have been her older brothers because Thea doesn't usually listen to classic rock. I paired it with black thigh high boots, and straightened my hair. The shirt hung off my shoulder a bit, giving a lazy look.
"Slay me!" Thea clapped.
I rolled my eyes and smirked. While we waited for the boys came to pick us up we just lounged around gossiping and taking selfies.
The boys arrived at exactly 7:30, and to say Thea was nervous was an understatement.
It was strange seeing my best friend so worked up over a guy, she never gets like this. She's always confident and outgoing, but around Calum something changed.
"Ready to go?" Luke asked, when we greeted him at the door.
"Mhm." I nodded, slipping my hand into his and walking towards his car.
We left Calum and Thea standing at the door just staring at one another. It was cute how they acted.
"So, you look amazing." Calum breathed, finally holding out his hand. Thea blushed, taking it, and shutting the door behind her.
"Thank you, so do you by the way, love the jacket."

"Okay, okay, okay I say it's time we blow the fancy dinner and hit the club." Calum exclaimed.
Currently we sat in a nice restaurant, eating fancy French food, surrounded by elite adults. I stood out like a sore thumb in my band tee dress.
"For once I'm going to agree with Cal." I mumbled.
"Aly Cohen wants to go to a club?" Thea dramatically placed her hand over her heart. "Without being forced, where she will be surrounded by people?"
I rolled my eyes at her comment. "Yes I want to go, it could be fun."
They all three genuinely looked shocked. Grabbing my purse I stood and motioned for them to come with me.
The club was loud. Really loud. Really crowded. Not my scene. Why the hell did you come here Alyse? To have fun with your friends for once in your life.
"Alright this club doesn't card, so I'm gonna go get us some shots!" Calum cheered. "Thea, you wanna come with?" She nodded and took off towards the bar with him.
Luke and I seated ourselves at a table near the side of the dance floor. We slid into the booth beside each other, Luke wrapping his arm around my waist. "I'm glad you're letting yourself do this Aly."
"Yeah well I guess I deserve a little fun." I smiled up at him. Even sitting down Luke was still a giant, especially compared to my 5'1 height.
"You deserve everything you want and more babe." He pressed a kiss to my head.
When Luke does cute shit like that it fucks with my head. I just want to know what we are. If you didn't know us, you'd think we were a couple.
"The night shall begin!" Calum exclaimed, placing a tray of shots on the table. Thea and him sat in the booth and each took a glass.
"To good times." Calum held his up. We all clinked our tiny shot glasses and downed the tequila.
"Let the good times roll." Luke grinned.
After getting used to the sensation in my throat I relaxed a bit. We were all having a great time just chatting about everything.
The boys got into their own conversation, while Thea grabbed my arm. "We're gonna dance!"
"No Thea I can't." I pleaded, as she dragged me to the dance floor. Bodies were pushed up against each other hundreds of them.
"Yes you can c'mon." She smirked.
House music filled my ears as Thea danced around. I just kind of stood there awkwardly looking lost. I wonder what kind of food they have at the bar? Quesadillas sound nice right now. Yeah I'd like a quesadilla.
"Aly!" Thea tugged me out of my haze. "Please just dance with me."
It was going to take more than one shot to get me to dance in front of people. Even though everyone was just paying attention to whoever was grinding on them, there were still people eyeing the crowd. I was buzzed, but not enough to loosen up.
I got myself another shot and then made my way back to Thea. As the alcohol took over I started to chill out. We danced together like most girls do at the clubs, and I just forgot about my problems for a while.
A few guys had tried to hit on us but we brushed them off. It was weird because not many guys ever notice me, but put me in a short dress and make me dance with my best friend, then they notice.
Soon Calum came and stole Thea away from me. I felt hands rest on my hips, and pull me into their front. Okay that was a little forward for Luke but I don't mind.
Because I was intoxicated, I didn't exactly act like I normally would. So I let the alcohol takeover and I grinded with Luke. What are you doing you despise PDA??
Luke leaned down and started kissing my neck, he pressed my backside against him even more. I didn't feel the familiar cool of his lip ring against my skin? He must have taken it out.
Then I realized I didn't feel the scruff of his facial hair, he didn't smell the same, and his kisses weren't as gentle.
I turned and came face to face with a stranger. I pushed away from him.
"Hey where ya going beauitful?" He smirked, holding his arms out. He looked like so,e stupid frat boy.
"Uhm I can't..." I mumbled.
The stranger roughly pulled me back to him and started rubbing against me.
"Get off!" I pounded my fists against his arms but he was stronger than me.
"We were having a good time, let's continue that." He growled.
"No I'm with someone, you're a stranger, just go away." I pushed.
He continued to grind against me while I continued to attempt at releasing his grip on me, as well as pleading for him to leave me alone.
Finally he realized I really didn't want it, and apologized, letting go of me, but staying nearby.
Suddenly the guy was ripped away from me. I watched as he was shoved by a familiar blonde boy. "Touch her again I dare you." Luke growled.
"Dude chill." The frat boy grinned deviously.
"You stay away from her or I'll fucking end you." Luke ordered.
"I don't know if she'd be okay with that. Maybe your should keep an eye on your bitc-"
Before he could finish Luke's fist collided with his face. It was a really hard punch. He stumbled back, raising a hand to his bloodied nose. He chuckled.
"That cunt is not worth fighting for," He smirked, turning his attention to me. "I mean you're good...but you're not special."
I just stood there speechless. I could feel my chest tightening as I watched Luke lunge towards the man. He shoved him on the ground and just started beating him senseless.
I wasn't worried about what the man said, I was worried about what I saw in front of me. I was truly scared of Luke.
The scene caused people to stop dancing and watch. "Luke!" I shouted. "Luke stop!"
He turned to glare at me, his once cerulean blue eyes now a dark shade, almost black. He didn't say anything, just continued beating the man up. I reached down for him but he shoved me away roughly. I landed hard on the ground.
Calum and Thea rushed over, she aided me as Calum pulled Luke away from the fight.
Tears welled in my eyes as Luke looked down at me, his raging anger turned to concern. His face shifted to a look of worry.
"Aly...." He whispered stepping toward me.
I was going to have a panic attack, I could feel it. I jumped up and ran away from the building.
"Aly! Babe! Wait don't go!" Thea called chasing after me.
I stopped once I was pretty far from the club, and dropped onto the sidewalk.
"What happened back there?" Thea huffed, sitting next to me.
"I don't...I don't know w-what.." I muttered.
"Cal is gonna take Luke home, do you want me to take you there?"
I hesitated, thinking things over. I did not recognize the Luke that I just saw. It was horrible, he could've killed the man.
"No... I don't want to see him." I cried.
"C'mon," She rubbed my back. "Let's get you back to my place."

/LUKE/
Staring down at Aly in shock, I couldn't function. "Aly..." I tentatively stepped toward her, but she ran. I actually made her run from me.
I tried to run after her, but Calum grabbed me and directed me out of the building, and towards his car.
Once we reached my apartment, I sat on the couch, angry, confused, and drunk.
"Luke you're not getting better." Calum mumbled.
"What?" I lifted my head from my hands, watching him pace in front of me.
"I know what happens when you drink too much. I shouldn't have let you drink that much. But you've stopped taking your meds I can see it."
"That's not true, I'm taking them..."
"All of them?" Calum snapped.
I stayed quiet.
"Luke you could have done some serious damage back there, I'll be surprised if you didn't."
"I don't need this right now!" I yelled, anger filling my voice. I glared at him.
"You scared Aly to death." Calum seethed.
"He was hurting her..."
"Mate I understand that you were trying to protect her, but you went overboard, again."
"Where is she?" I pressed.
"Thea took her home."
"This is her home." I mumbled.
"No Luke, it's not. It's amazing that you're protecting her from what goes on at that house, but this isn't her real home."
"I can't let her go back there." I stood, ready to go get my girl back.
Calum placed a hand on my chest stopping me. "She's at Thea's okay. Don't bother her. I'm staying here, go take a shower."
I nodded and made my way to my room. Pulling out my phone I dialed her number.
After calling six times with no success I texted her.
12:15 a.m Me: baby please answer me...
After waiting for a response, I hopped into the shower, trying to wash away the guilt.12:32 a.m Angel: I don't want to talk right now Luke.
12:34 a.m Me: I'm sorry, I really am, just let me come and explain
12:37 a.m Angel: not right now...I just don't want to be near you right now.
Those last ten words ripped my heart out.

A/N: that was a really long wait for me to update and I apologize. There's really no excuse for it other than I was on vacation and I've just been lazy. This is short and shitty but I wanted to update and I'll do better from now on. SLFL IN 8 DAYS AHHH I AM SO EXCITED!! also what does everyone think of GTB? I LOVE it!
