A/N: Hey guys! So I'm gonna try and keep these updates to at least once a week, for sure an update on Saturday as best as I can. I still have one part time job I'm working at, so my afternoons are still gone, but I do have some mornings back to write. Just wanted to keep you guys updated [haha, punny, right?]. Anyways, hope you enjoy and I'll see you in the next chapter!

Katrina pov

This time, when Monday rolled around and school started, I was not alone. The pack stuck near me throughout most of the morning; entering the school, stopping at each other's lockers, between classes, we watched each others' backs. By the time it was lunch, I had made it through the whole morning without any major incidents, even the deadly duo didn't appear to bother us.

As we were sitting down at a small corner table, a girl walked up. I immediately went on guard, expecting trouble, but Tory smiles and greets her with a cheery "Ella!"

Ella returns the smile and replies "Tory! It's been so long since I've seen you...a whole entire weekend!"

Tory chuckles then turns towards me "Katrina, this is Ella Francis, the queen of sarcasm. Ella, this is Katrina, she's the newest member of the Morris Island crew."

Ella looks me over for a moment with her green-gray eyes then smiles at me as well. "Hello Katrina, good to see that the girls are starting to outnumber the guys for once."

I decided to like her and respond with  a simple "Yes indeed."

Introduction over, she turns back to Tory "How are your classes going? Caught up on APUSH yet?"

Tory groans "No, I still have two chapters to do."

Shelton pipes up "But Tory, it's been another week, so don't you have three chapters to do now?"

Tory practically growls out "I suppose I do, thank you for pointing that out, Shelton."

Shelton squeaks out a quick "No problem" and then began to rummage through his lunch bag.

Hi nudges me, "Hey, where's your lunch?"

I jump a little at the unexpected touch "Oh! Um...I forgot it at home..." I grin sheepishly and force out a laugh. "I'm a bit forgetful."

Hi frowns a little, then opens his lunchbox. I chuckle a little bit, Hi's lunch box is metal and shaped like a sandwich, and it looks amusingly realistic. Hi takes a pb&j sandwich out and slides it towards me "Here, you can have some of my lunch then."

I quickly slide it back "No thanks, I wouldn't want to steal your lunch."

"You need to eat something." Hi insists, worry tinging his voice

"I had a granola bar last hour." I lie in an attempt to appease him "Besides, I'm not all that hungry."

Hi seems bothered about my response, but he relents and begins to eat his sandwich. My stomach growls, and I attempt to ignore it, but it adamantly protests the lack of substance in my bowels. I mentally sigh, today will be a long day.
