Ben found her thankfully , she was in the kitchen upstairs that was rarely used . He stood in the doorway for a second and watched as she began to roll out pie crust.
"Hey Rey ... How you feeling ?" He asked taking a step in the room and closing the door .
"I'm fine" she put the crust down in the pie and then went to the filling.
"I'm so sorry about Hux and all ... He's just a huge dick and -"
"Why are you apologizing? You didn't make fun of me ? You just stood there ... And did nothing ... You didn't even tell him to knock it off when you could have and he would have never even know you are the father" Rey said as she spread the filling evenly in the crust .
"Hey I had my reputation on the line and -"
"Well I had my entire life on the line and then you kissed me " she snapped .
"You kissed me back !"
"Because you're a good kisser not because I wanted to get pregnant!" She spat and put the braided pieces of dough atop the pie .
"Well I'm sorry for not sticking up for you and for kissing you " Ben said taking a seat at the stool near by.
"You don't have to be sorry for kissing me .... Maybe the things after the kissing that we did in your car at 1:30 in the morning but not for kissing me"
Ben let out a small laugh "thank you Rey" Ben said .
She nodded and then put the pie in the oven and began the next one . "How many pies do you make ?"
"Whatever is demanded "
"Who taught you how to make pie ?" He asked her .
"My mom ... I was 13 when she died... She used to dream of opening up her own restaurant and it all be centered around her pies ... " Rey said softly .
"That's cool ... So you've been making pies every since you were 13?"
"Yeah ... " she then put the crust in the pie tin .
"How did you get this job then ?"
"My grandpa told me I needed a job , something to do after school , and Finn and Poe told me Han was hiring so I applied ... I didn't make a resume or anything I just brought him a piece of my apple pie and the rest is history" she said as she added the filling to the pie .
"Have you thought about baby stuff?"
"No because every time I try and text someone they don't answer " she shot him a look.
"Sorry about that but do you wanna talk about it now ?" He asked .
"Don't you have to get back to your friends ?"
"They're not my friends ... And I told them -"
"Told them what ?" She asked spinning around to face him .
"That I'm the father "
"You told them ... You actually told them ... You admitted that you're the father of my baby ?" She was shocked to say the least .
