White Mage slides open a pair of doors in the wall which weren't there before. She calmly walks through the doorway, floating the stunned Mabel in front of her. She stops and turns to look at Dipper.
"You coming?" she asks.
"W...where are we going...?" Dipper stutters, exhausted.
"Oops, silly me! You're bleeding out! Here, get on my back," White Mage says. Dipper tries to sit up, but falls back down. Then, he slowly crawls over and clutches onto her dress, hoisting himself up to her back. Right before he falls back down onto the ground, she catches him with her magic, and floats him back onto her back.
"You couldn't have done that a couple seconds ago...?" Dipper grumbles, closing his eyes.
"Alright, let's go!" she says, ignoring his remark, and moving on.
Dipper slowly blinks open his eyes when he feels someone poking him.
"Diiiiiipper!" White Mage says. "Oh, Diiiiiipper!"
"Ugh....wha...huh...?" Dipper mumbles, waking up.
"Hurry up, wake up! Or else you'll die before you introduce yourself to my sister!" White Mage says.
"Huh...? Die...?" Dipper mumbles, glancing down. There's a puddle of blood beneath him from his wounds, and he's sitting in a chair. He tries to sit himself up, but he forgets his arm is broken.
"Agh!" he yells.
"Helloooo?" White Mage reminds him, gesturing to a girl with a black dress, black hair, and red eyes sitting across from him.
"Oh...um, I'm Dip..." Dipper starts, but his eyelids feel heavy, and he begins to pass out. He catches himself, and snaps awake again.
"...Dipper Pines...please...help Mabel..." Dipper says, closing his eyes, and collapsing yet again.
"You're right, he does care for his sister more than himself," the older-looking teen says.
"Yes! Quite touching, right, Dark Mage!!? You can feel their connection!" White Mage says, clapping her hands.
"Yes, but also sickening." Dark Mage says, rolling her eyes. "But yes...this will work perfectly,""Huh?" Mabel stutters, waking up with a start. She looks around. She's in a dark gray room.
"Hello?" she calls. "Where's Dipper? What happened--"
Once again, memories come flooding in.
She looks at the ground and begins to cry, knowing the reason he once died is because of her.
"Hello there!" a happy voice calls.
A young girl, who looks around 12 years old, steps out of the darkness. She's wearing a gray dress, and has gray eyes.
"Uh...h-hi," Mabel sniffs.
The girl's face falls.
"What's the matter...?" she asks Mabel, gently placing her hand on her shoulder.
"I thought you'd feel better after my sister healed you from being a zombie,"
"Let me guess," Mabel cries. "Dipper had to die again to save me, right!?"
"No, not this time!" the girl says. "You're both alive and well,"
Mabel looks up, surprised.
"Oh..." she says, wiping tears from her eyes. I should've been the one being attacked...Dipper doesn't deserve this. He's the only one who deserves to be alive and well... Mabel thinks. "Then...where is he...?" she stutters.
"He's with my sister in another room," she says, calmly. "They're just hanging around. The name's Gray Mage, nice ta meet you!" Gray Mage says, holding out her hand. Mabel shakes it.
"Nice...to meet you too! Thank you so much," Mabel sighs happily. "It's all okay now, huh,"
"Yup! Actually, I'll call him right now! Dipper, come here, she's awake!" Gray Mage yells. A door cracks open. White Mage is holding him.
"For crying out loud, turn on a light in here!" White Mage says, flipping the light switch on.
"Dipper fell back asleep,"
"Ohhh, okay!" Gray Mage says. "Guess you can't talk to him just yet!"
"So, what exactly happened...?" Mabel asks.
"Dark Mage healed you, and I healed Dipper. His arm is slightly fractured still, but it should heal soon. He still has some scars, but those should heal over time as well," White Mage says. "Also...we discovered something interesting inside of you, Mabel!"
"Huh?" Mabel asks.
"You have dark energy in your soul! That means with practice, you could conjure up dark magic!" Gray Mage squeals.
Mabel rubs her head, and asks, "I have...like...superpowers inside of me?"
"Yeah! See, okay what's an easy one..." Gray Mage mumbles to herself, flipping through a magic book that appeared out of nowhere.
"Aha! Okay, say...yzoo lu wzipmvhh!" Gray Mage says.
"Um...listen, I actually kind of just want to go home, with Wendy and Grunkle Stan. Thanks so much for helping out, but after all this..." Mabel says, sighing, and rubbing her eyes. "Can I just take my brother and go now...?"
White Mage glances at Gray Mage, and they silently agree to let them go.
"Alright, just a moment!" White Mage says, snapping. Grunkle Stan and Wendy appear in the room with them.
"Guys!" Mabel shouts, running over.
"Wha? Huh? Mabel?" Grunkle Stan grumbles, rubbing his eyes.
Wendy blinks her eyes, getting accustomed to the light.
"Wait, we're back? Sweet!" she says, standing up. Mabel helps Grunkle Stan up, and tells him all that had happened.
"Well, is the reunion over? If so, I can show you out now!" White Mage says.
"Wait! Um, Mabel?" Gray Mage says, turning to face her. "Here!"
Gray Mage hands Mabel her dark magic book.
"Oh! Uh, thanks, but I'm not sure when I'm gonna open it...like I said, after this, me and my bro will want some time to relax, and--" Mabel starts, yawning, her body realizing she hasn't had a good night's sleep in a long time.
"How about you open it now?" Gray Mage says. "Just look at the first page!"
Mabel turns the first page, and sees Gray Mage's address written on a sticky note.
"Can we be pen pals? I know we just met, but I usually don't get visitors, especially of my own age..." Gray Mage says, rubbing the back of her neck and looking down. "Plus, I got the vibes that you liked Sev'ral Timez or something!"
"Oh, I have history with them, alright!" Mabel says, brightening up a bit.
"Have you actually met them personally?" Gray Mage squeals.
"You wouldn't believe!" Mabel answers.
"Okay, girls! You can talk about this later. Buh-bye!" White Mage says, winking. She snaps, there's a flash of light, and they all disappear.
They slowly get up and standing again. They're back in the Mystery Shack.
Mabel looks at Dipper, who is a few feet away from her on the ground.
She grins when she looks down and sees him peacefully nodding off to sleep, unharmed. Finally.
"Well, that happened!" Stan says, cracking his back when he stands up.
Stan walks over to Dipper, and smiles. "He's one tough kid, huh!" he laughs, relief showing up all over his face. He roughly rubs the top of his head, but does it gently enough to not wake him.
Wendy runs over, and listens to Dipper's heartbeat. She breathes a sigh of relief, and gives him a huge hug.
She picks him up, and says, "Anyway, uh, I'm gonna tuck him in for the night. You're welcome, dudes!"
Just then, Soos walks in.
"How was you're extremely long trip to the grocery store?" he says.
"It was horrifying, but in the end, it went really well." Mabel yawns, leaning up against Grunkle Stan.
"Like all grocery trips, it would seem," Soos nods gravely. "Later, dudes!"
Grunkle Stan picks up Mabel, and takes her upstairs.
Wendy is standing over Dipper, staring at him and smiling.
"You're still up here?" Mabel asks, grinning inquisitively.
"I was just waiting for you guys. Don't think I don't wanna tell you goodnight for one second, Mabel Pines!" Wendy grins. Stan lays Mabel down, and they both tell her goodnight. But before Stan leaves, Mabel jumps up and gives him a big hug.
"Thanks," she sighs.
Stan smiles, and hugs her back.
"Of course, pumpkin," he says back.
Once Mabel gets back in bed and begins to nod off, she notices her dark magic book is gone.
Must've left it downstairs. Mabel thinks, closing her eyes and falling asleep. "Goodnight, Dipper,"(Note: how'd you like it? That's a great way to end the story, right? WRONG! I have many evil things planned next! Muahaha! Thanks for reading! 😋😄)
