Dipper is sitting outside writing about his experiences with his powers in his journal again.
"Whatcha writing about?" Wendy asks, sitting down next to him.
"Oh, Wendy, hey, Wendy!" Dipper says quickly, shutting the book. "Oh, just more mystical mystery stuff, as usual!"
"Ooookay," Wendy laughs, putting her hands up surrender-style. "I won't prod! But it does sound super cool!"
"Yeah, it is!" Dipper says.
I wish I could show her too... Dipper thinks.
They both stand up and walk around near the shack.
"Hey, you never came to see me at the pool this week! I was bummed out!" Wendy says, playfully punching him.
"Oh, man! I meant to," Dipper says, face-palming. "Trust me, of course I really wanted to see you--I mean, me and Mabel really wanted to--y'know," Dipper stammers, laughing nervously.
"Hey, I really wanted to see you too!" Wendy says.
Dipper smiles, and can't help but blush a bit. Suddenly, Mabel comes running towards them, but she's looking behind her, not able to see them. Wendy isn't paying attention, so Mabel is about to run into her full-force.
"Hey, Mabel, look out!" Dipper yells. By the time Mabel looks in front of her, it's too late.
Dipper pushes Wendy out of the way and Mabel knocks into him instead. They both tumble on the ground.
"Whoa!" Wendy yells, shaking her head, still laying on the ground. She stands up.
"You guys alright?" she asks. Mabel stands up.
"Yeah, I'm fine..." Mabel says, brushing herself off. "I am soooo sorry you guys! I was running away from a demon wasp herd out for blood!"
They both turn their heads when they hear Dipper moaning.
"Huh!?" Mabel exclaims, running over.
"Dipper, what's wrong?" Mabel asks. Wendy follows close behind.
"Augh...Mabel...stinging is...back," he chokes out.
"The stinging is...? Oh no," Mabel says. "I...wonder if the wasps stung him after I got up or something!"
Wendy carefully picks him up.
"I'll take him to his room, we'll check there," Wendy says, running towards the shack.

Wendy lays Dipper down onto his bed.
"Dipper, did you get stung by the wasps?" Wendy asks.
"No...no wasps..." Dipper mumbles, rolling back and forth.
"Then what's wrong!?" Wendy asks. "Do we need to call a doctor or what?"
"No...I don't know...augh!" Dipper groans.
"Gosh, this guy! I'll get a glass of water for him," Wendy says, running out.
"Dipper, are you talking about the stinging from earlier!?" Mabel whisper-shouts.
"Uh...huh," Dipper grumbles, nodding, still clutching to himself and rolling back and forth in pain. "Augh...! It's...still...stinging!"
Mabel notices he looks like he has a high fever again.
Dipper clutches to his stomach. Wendy walks in.
"What's hurting him?" Wendy asks.
"Something on his stomach is stinging, he said," Mabel says, frowning. "And he has a fever,"
"Alright, take off your shirt now!" Wendy orders. "Mabel, get a first aid kit in case it's bleeding or something!"
Dipper rips off his shirt with his eyes closed, clenching his fists in agony.
"Alright, Dipper, you gotta hold still, dude!" Wendy says, gently holding him down. She grabs his arms and moves them aside so she can look at his chest and stomach area. Wendy gasps.
Mabel enters the room.
"What the...? Mabel, look!" Wendy shouts.
Mabel looks.
There are dark welts all over his body. Some on the shoulders, some on the back, a lot on the stomach.
Mabel's eyes widen, and she steps back.
"What the...!?" Mabel whispers.
"We need to get him to a hospital. Get ahold of Stan!" Wendy sighs. "Oh Dip, you never get a break, do you?" Wendy glances down at his clenched fist. Wendy takes his hand and let's him squeeze hers.

Dipper slowly opens his eyes and let's them get adjusted to the light.
"What the...?" he murmurs. He looks around to see no one. Just him in a white room, laying in a...
"...hospital bed...!?" Dipper sighs. "Again?"
Mabel opens the door and walks in.
"Dipper? You're awake," Mabel sighs in relief. "Are you awake enough to tell me what happened?"
Dipper thinks back.
"All I remember is...you tackled me, and then the stinging came back from before," Dipper sighs.
"Maybe those were already there, and me tackling you made it worse or something?" Mabel wonders aloud. "Whatever that spell that was that made you feel like this, we need to find, so you don't do it again,"
"Yeah, we do..." Dipper mumbles.
But I don't see why bad side-effects from a light spell would give me dark welts. Dipper thinks.
"I'm so sorry, bro," Mabel sighs.
She hugs him gently, and gives his hand a squeeze.
Suddenly, Dipper screams again.
Mabel jumps back.
"Are you kidding me...!?" Mabel says.
"I...I don't know...what's wrong..." Dipper cries, twitching from pain again. Mabel looks. There's more welts all over his top area, and...there are dark welts exactly where she squeezed his hand.
The idea hits Mabel like a moving train.
"Oh, no..." Mabel says, going pale and stepping back.
"What...?" Dipper asks, clueless. "Mabel, is something wrong...?"
"Dipper...what if...what if it was me...?" Mabel says. "I have dark powers,"
Dipper thinks a moment. The idea strikes him as well. It never occurred to him that Mabel was the issue.
Tears start to well up in Mabel's eyes.
"I'm causing you pain again!" Mabel cries.
"Mabel, please...don't cry! It's not your fault! It...it's fine, it doesn't hurt that much," Dipper lies.
"Dipper, really? You're in a hospital, and you're telling me it doesn't hurt that much?" Mabel says. "I bet I was the reason for that heat flash, too!"
"Mabel..." Dipper says, not knowing what to say, too weak to think.
"Why do I always hurt you...? Why is it always me that hurts you!?" Mabel cries, running out.
"Mabel!" Dipper yells. He hesitates, looking around, and jumps out of bed.
He runs out the door.
As he runs through the halls, nurses and doctors spot him.
"Patient loose!" Dipper hears someone yell.
A couple doctors stop him.
"No, let me through! I need to talk to my sister!" Dipper struggles. "Please...!"
With one last weak punch and kick at the doctors restraining him, he passes out.
"Kid's got a high fever," the doctor mumbles. "Take him back to his room immediately,"
