"Punch?" Grenda questions.
Mabel nods.
Grenda yells, punching Wendy's bedroom window so they can climb through.
"Uh, I'll pay for that!" Grenda says, once inside.
"Mabel! Mabel, you've got some explaining to do. What is going on with Dipper!?" Wendy asks urgently.
"I can't explain it all right now, but we need to...um...Dipper, can you hear me!?" Mabel asks, rushing over to Dipper.
"I...what...who's Bill...? Mabel...lied...? What is...?" Dipper mumbles to himself, clutching his brain and shaking back and forth.
"Grenda, cold rag! Candy, water! Wendy, Ducktective! Let's make him feel as comfortable and at home as possible and maybe his brain will settle down," Mabel shouts. Wendy helps lay Dipper down.
"Dipper, listen, you need to just...calm down! Please," Mabel pleads.
Dipper can't hear her as several painful memories flood into his brain.
"The...journal..." Dipper mutters, closing his eyes and passing out.
"Okay, let's look at the positive side! Maybe when Dipper wakes up he'll forget all about this!" Mabel says sarcastically, face-palming, and sitting on the edge of Wendy's bed, right in front of Dipper's limp body.
"Mabel. Explain." Wendy says, placing her hand on her shoulder.
"Okay...Dipper...uh...hit his head and lost his memory," Mabel sighs, cutting the story short. "So, like, his brain is reset to around the first week or two of summer,"
"For real!?" Wendy gasps. "Oh, man..."
"I know! As you can probably tell now, I've been trying to prevent everyone from bringing up anything from the recent past that might affect him," Mabel says, glancing sadly down at Dipper. "The doctor said he should be fine if I let the memories gradually come back to him, but that if he is forced into remembering, his brain could fry,"
"Mabel, you should've told me sooner! You know you can trust me," Wendy says, concerned, sitting on the edge of the bed next to her.
"I know...I guess I thought Stan, Soos and you have been helping out so much, so maybe I could just...handle this one on my own," Mabel mumbles.
"We all need help sometimes, girl! Even the tough ones do!" Grenda says, walking in with the cold rag.
"Friendship is to be opening up to each other," Candy says, walking in with a glass of water, nodding. "Opposite of keeping secrets, I would think,"
Mabel grins, sitting up.
"Thanks, guys! Sometimes even Mabel needs a reminder!" Mabel says. "Group hug on Wendy's bed!"
They all hug right there on the bed--Candy and Grenda setting their stuff down first--right next to the unconscious Dipper. After a few seconds, Wendy says, "Yeah, we should probably focus on Dipper now,".Dipper slowly blinks his eyes open and starts to come to. At first his vision is blurry, but then it all becomes clear. But when it does become clear, it's all dark, so he still can't see well yet.
"What happened last night...? Or tonight...? Or...what was I talking about again?" Dipper mumbles, rubbing his eyes. Slowly his eyes adjust to the darkness and he glances around. In the bed next to him is Wendy, sleeping.
He almost screams, but stifles it by slapping his hand over his mouth as his face immediately turns red.
He loosens up and sighs in relief when he sees she's on top of the covers. He looks at the ground.
He sees Mabel, Candy, and Grenda, all laying on a flattened out sleeping bag on the ground. Mabel is sleeping on top of Candy's legs, who's head is laying on Grenda's arm.
"How did I get involved with one of Mabel's sleepovers...?" Dipper whispers to himself. He sees flannel covers he's under, and a picture of Wendy with her family on the wall.
"This must be Wendy's room," Dipper mutters. "But why would Wendy invite...?" he yawns. His thoughts are interrupted when he sees Wendy is laying on no pillows; it looks like she gave one of her two pillows to him.
He carefully gets out of bed and tiptoes over to Mabel, and sees Grenda is sleeping on Wendy's other pillow.
He turns back around and grabs his pillow, and walks over to the side Wendy's on. He gulps.
He carefully slips his hand under her head and lifts it up, propping the pillow underneath. He lets out another sigh of relief and wipes his forehead with the hand he used to slide the pillow in. Suddenly, she rolls over, facing him. Dipper gasps, but is relieved to see she is still sleeping, eyes closed. But now her head is laying on his hand, her cheek pressed against it. Dipper blushes and tries to slide it out. It takes a bit, but finally, and without waking her up, he slides it out. He yawns, looking at her peaceful expression a bit longer, before walking to the other side and climbing back in bed. Before he drifts off to sleep again, he feels Wendy shivering slightly.
"In the middle of the summer...?" Dipper mumbles, rolling over. He sees the fan is pointed directly at her, and she has no covers. Dipper frowns. He takes off his vest, and drapes it over her. Finally, he lays back down, feeling his cheek press against his hand and not a pillow like before, but he doesn't care.
He smiles, and his unsettled dreams take him away."Sister...stop, please...!" White Mage screams.
"Never! I won't stop punishing you for what you did," Dark Mage growls. "You ruined my chance to gain ultimate power!"
"Fine, torture me all you want...!" White Mage gasps. "But it won't change anything! You still won't have ultimate power, and the Pines twins will still be safe and sound, the prophecy still destroyed! But go ahead!"
Dark Mage hisses, but then widens her eyes in understanding.
"Yes, you're right...the only way I could attain a higher level of power is by incanting that ancient morphing spell, and morphing with another...dark...warrior," Dark Mage mutters. She slowly grins. Then begins to giggle, until she is bustling with laughter.
"What are you...getting at...?" White Mage whispers, eyes widening in horror.
"I think you know sister," Dark Mage shrieks. "Because I've already tried it once before!"
"No...but...but you failed!" White Mage yells.
"I was 14!" Dark Mage yells. "And I was doing it because I was annoyed at you for pushing your chores onto me," She rolls her eyes.
"Still, that spell is very dangerous, sister, you don't know--"
"Oh, I of all people know," Dark Mage says. "And this time, I'm ready! Be sure of that, dear Kotomi,"(Note: Yay, I'm back!! Thanks for reading, I hope it met your expectations!!
