Stan walks in. Mabel and Dipper are playing an intense round of hangman.
"Mabel, how could you know of a word that long!?" Dipper sighs.
"Give up?" Mabel prods.
"Fine, what is it this time?" Dipper asks.
"Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!" Mabel says.
"Seriously? That's not even a real word!" Dipper says.
"Check the dictionary, sucka!" Mabel says. "BOOSH!"
"You keep using either made-up Mabel dictionary words or boy bands I don't know of!" Dipper says. "And I don't know of any boy bands! I don't want to know of any boy bands!"
"You know of Sev'ral Timez!" Mabel says, winking.
"Number one, they aren't a band anymore. Number two, they never were a real band," Dipper grumbles.
They look up and see Stan standing there, watching it all go down.
"Oh, hey Stan," Dipper says.
"We are talking about boy bands! Wanna join?" Mabel says.
"Uh, I suddenly have business anywhere but here!" Stan says, turning around and walking the other direction.
"Well, that was fun!" Mabel says.
Dipper suddenly feels the urge to tell her about his powers.
No, it's for her own protection. Dipper thinks.
Mabel feels a twist in her stomach telling her to tell Dipper as well, and there's an awkward silence.
I'm protecting him by doing this! Mabel thinks.
"Is there...something you want to tell me?" Dipper asks, changing the topic.
Crap, I think that's my cue! No, Mabel, it's not your cue! You can't! Mabel thinks.
"No, not really. You?" Mabel replies.
Dipper gulps, and sighs.
"No, not in particular," he says.
It gets silent again.
"Well, wanna walk around outside?" Dipper says.
"Sure," Mabel smiles. They both are walking around outside, when Mabel sees a black cat in a tree.
"Omigosh Dipper I have to get that cat!" Mabel squeals urgently.
"Go ahead, but...be careful! It's pretty high up," Dipper smiles.
Mabel climbs up the tree and gets to the branch with the cat on it, meowing and scared. She carefully climbs out onto the limb and grabs it.
"Haha! Gotcha!" she says, cuddling with it. It instantly likes her.
Suddenly, they all hear a big crack.
"Uh...Mabel...?" Dipper says, pointing.
Mabel slowly turns her head to see the branch about to fully crack, and probably fall.
Mabel slowly starts to climb back, when it cracks all the way, and she free-falls, the emerald-eyed cat in her arms.
"Mabel!" Dipper yells. Dipper hesitates for a split second, but closes his eyes, and says, "Ulixvurvow!"
He makes the gestures with his hands, and a force field of light energy appears below Mabel. She lands on it softly, bounces on it a couple times, and once she's slowed to a stop, Dipper runs over.
"Are...you okay?" Dipper asks.
Mabel says nothing, and just stares at him with huge eyes and an open mouth. She drops the cat from surprise, and the cat rubs up against Dipper.
Dipper laughs nervously. "Uh, I'll...help you down there,"
Dipper grabs Mabel's hand and helps her off of the force field. Then Dipper snaps, making it disappear.
"Soooo, there's something you should know," Dipper states, rubbing the back of his neck.
"You...wha...you're...HUH...!?" Mabel spits out.
Well, now that she needs to have an explanation I'll tell her. But I'm still not going to tell her the "evil rising up" thing...that could still be dangerous for her to know. Dipper thinks, cautiously.
"Well, apparently White Mage told me I have light powers, so...she taught me a few tricks," Dipper says. "I'm so sorry I didn't tell you earlier, I just..."
"My brother has powers!?" Mabel screams excitedly. "Dipper, that's awesome! That is so cool!"
Dipper smiles.
"Haha, yeah, it is!" Dipper says.
"I...I have something to tell you too," Mabel says, throwing her hands up. "I have powers too! Wop-wop!"
Dipper pauses.
"What?" he questions, unbelieving.
"I have dark powers, Gray told me so!" Mabel says.
"Seriously...? For real?" Dipper asks. "I guess it makes sense, we are twins,"
"Hey, look!" Mabel says. She makes a ball of darkness appear between her hands.
"Wait...you don't even have to say the spells?" Dipper asks.
"I do with some, but with the ball spell I don't. It's a level 1 spell, so I've practiced it enough to where I can just say it in my head!" Mabel says.
"You know more than I do! How long have you been practicing? Ever since Gray's sleepover?" Dipper asks.
Mabel looks at the ground.
"Pretty much," Mabel says. "I'm sorry Dipper,"
"Hey, it's totally alright! I pretty much did the same to you," Dipper says, smiling, and placing his hand on her shoulder.
"Thanks, Dip!" Mabel says, smiling back.
Dipper takes his hand off of her shoulder, because he felt a stinging sensation. But he's too distracted to think about it for more than a second.
I bet I would be at the same level if I hadn't lost that stupid book... Dipper thinks, negatively. Wait...did she say Gray Mage taught her? What if Gray is secretly with the bad guys? I better be careful...
"Have we got all the secrets out for now!? Jeez!" Mabel laughs.
Wait a sec! He said White Mage taught him! What if he doesn't know it, but White Mage is on the bad people's side!? I better be cautious! Mabel thinks.
"Yeah, jeez! Haha," Dipper laughs. "Alright, let's head back to the shack and stay away from trees for now!"
"Awe, that cute cat is all over you now that you saved it's life!" Mabel says.
"Haha, yeah it is!" Dipper laughs, as the cat follows him back to the shack, mewing the whole way there. "I think I'll name you...Mew!"
"Awe, Dipper, you've found your Waddles!" Mabel squeals happily.
"I don't know if we'll ever get that close," Dipper smiles. They walk inside the shack, and Mew follows.
Stan walks past them, and pauses for a second to look at Mew.
Dipper picks up Mew and holds him up to Stan, and flashes Stan the biggest smile ever. Then he stares at him with pleading eyes. Stan rolls his eyes.
"Well, we've got a pig already, so what the heck!" Stan says, gesturing with his hand that he can go ahead and keep it.
"Yes!" Dipper and Mabel both say.
They run up to their room and Mew follows yet again.
"We have to make Mew a bed!" Mabel says, digging for supplies. Dipper kneels down and pets Mew.
"Look, you've inspired Mabel already!" Dipper laughs to Mew as Mew licks his hand.
Mabel pulls out an extra pillow.
"We can start with this!" Mabel says. Mew jumps up on Dipper's lap and he falls backwards, laughing.
"This is so picture perfect!" Mabel yells, pulling out her camera. Dipper sits up a bit, still laughing, as Mew licks him. She comes up behind them, puts her arms around Dipper, and takes a selfie with them.
"Augh!" Dipper yells right after the photo is taken. Dipper jumps back.
"Whoa, did Mew bite you or something?" Mabel asks.
Dipper just screams, rubbing his back.
"Dipper, what's hurting!?" Mabel prods.
Finally, Dipper calms down enough to speak.
"Phew...I...I don't know. I just felt this awful stinging on my back and shoulders, like a hundred bees stinging me at once!" Dipper says. "Ouch!"
"Is it gone now?" Mabel asks.
"Yeah, it's gone," Dipper sighs. "Maybe I did a spell wrong or something?"
"That's definitely possible. Light easily burns things, right? Maybe it's a negative side effect," Mabel wonders.
"If so, I better take a break from it," Dipper grumbles, rubbing his sore back.
Mew looks concerned for his new owner, and licks Dipper's face to make him feel better.
"You're an interesting cat, Mew," Dipper sighs, smiling, and petting him.(Note: What's wrong with Dipper? What's with these random strikes of pain and heat? And why am I asking, cause I already know!?(≧∇≦)(^_<) Love you guys, hold tight, it's coming soon! In the meantime, please comment your thoughts and vote if you liked it! :3)
