Adams POV
I walk up to Max and Tims house and knock on the door. I hadn't seen Max in a few days and we hadn't texted like we usually do. Tim opens the door with broccoli hanging out of his mouth.
"Dude, come on, we talked about this." I say, pulling the broccoli out of his mouth. I throw it in the bush behind me.
"Aw." Tim groans, looking at the floor. I smile, then look behind him. I see Max standing behind the couch on the other side of the room. He was blushing, but he looked angry. I smile at him, but he only turns around and walks away.
Tim lets me in, and we go to the kitchen. He gets in his fridge and gets more broccoli. I hear a gasp behind me, so I turn around. I see Max standing there, blushing.
"Hey bud." I say to him, but he looks at me with an angry face. He comes in and goes straight to the fridge, pushing me out of the way. He gets a can of something, I couldn't tell what it was, and darted out.
Tim looked at me, but I was looking out at the door. Why is he acting so strange?
I brush it off and ask Tim if he wants to go to the mall with me.
"Sure, I might catch some Pokemon there." He laughs.
"If Tim's going, then I'm going too. Not because- never mind." Max says, poking his head into the kitchen. They grab their wallets and we head to our car.

Hey guys. Sorry for the short chapter, I'm trying to post more, but that means shorter chapters. Oh, I have big news! On this book I hit 1k reads! Incredible! I didn't think a crappy sequel would do this well. I couldn't have done it without you lovelies! Sadly, this book is starting to close. We still have a few chapters more, but I'm trying to make the best of it. I have no more to say right now, so I will see you guys in the next chapter.
