Chapter 12: Unknown Feelings

Nuong matapos ang event ay kumain muna kami sa labas; Tristan with his parents, Liv, Patsi and my mom. It was a shame that ate jo had to go home early dahil malayo pa ang byahe niya mula sa school ko.

"Grabe! I can't explain how nervous I felt with the last vote! Halos himatayin ako!" Liv said.

Everyone seemed entertained with all her bickering.

"And tell you what! I was shouting from the top of my lungs! My ghad!" sabi niya pa.

"I'm sure if there's an award for the best friend of the year, ikaw na agad yun dear." Sabi ni mama. Everyone laughed a bit.

"You know what, while you were both there, I can't help but be at awe on how good you two look together." sabi nuong mommy ni Tristan.

"That's right tita! Exactly what I was feeling! They're my current OTP!" singit ni Liv.

Tristan's dad just smiled habang kinakain ang steak niya. Patsi was quietly eating as well.

"Are you two dating?" tanong ni tita, Tristan's mom.

"Mom!" natatawang sabi ni Tristan.

"Well?" tumaas ang kilay ni Tita Agnes, she's still smiling though.

"Friends lang po kami tita." Sabi ko saka ngumiti.

Although I confirmed na hindi naman kami, her mom still look unconvinced.

"I wouldn't mind if you two go out. You have my vote Tristan." Pabirong sabi ni mama.

Everyone laughed at this.

"Ma!" sabi ko.

"Kunyari ka pa! You know you want it!" sabi ni Liv. Natawa ulit sila ang I just rolled my eyes at them pero tumawa rin.

"Thank you tita." Sabi ni Tristan saka nagpakawala ng nakakalokong ngiti.

The dinner went well. Maya't maya ng tawa nila at hindi nauubusan ng mapag-uusapan. Halos hindi nga ako makakain sa kakatawa sa kanila. Patrice had to go home early though, hinahanap na daw siya sa kanila.

Nuong patulog na ako ay saka ko lang naalala yung text ni Mr. Just Someone.

Lying down on my bed, I unlocked my phone and opened my conversation with him.
