Chapter 21: Jealous

Months went by smoothly and before we know it, it's already Christmas break. Si Jiji at Carmela ang palagi kong kasama during those times. Tristan is still my friend after what happened. Patsi.. well Patsi never came to school again, sabi ng OSA ay nagtransfer na daw siya sa Taytay.

Hindi ko nga alam kung bakit ganuon kalaki ang galit niya sa akin para hindi na pumasok at magtransfer. I'm over Tristan now and if she wants him, he's all hers.

I got closer with Carla, Lia and Owen. Sila ang palagi kong kasamang gumala sa kung saan-saan kasama si Nathan. Minsan kasi ay hindi pwede si Jisele at Carm since they're handling their own business online.

Tristan was my partner during social night. We were both crowned as Face of the night. I guess our chemistry is just undeniable.

Si Papa naman ay tumawag na sa akin. Sabi nya ay okay lang siya at nasa Tagaytay siya dahil sa trabaho. He told me I should visit him from time to time. He visits me here as well.

I told Nate that I'd postpone his life counseling. I know what to do right now. And it's to pursue what I want.

This past few months of exchanging text and calls with Nate made me realize I like him already. It wasn't hard to fall for him actually. He never failed to remind me that I am enough every single day. He never forgot to compliment me and make me laugh, especially in making me laugh.

With Nate, or as what I call him now, Nathan, life became so easy. No mind games and he never left me guessing dahil he's a very straightforward person. He tells me what I want to hear and what I need to hear.

Naging dependent ako masyado kay Nathan. Siya ang nag-aayos ng schedule ko dahil hindi ako masyadong maalam sa time management. Natutulungan niya rin ako sa thesis at iba pa. Life was easier with him.

My phone rang and that pulled me away from my thoughts. Nakalimutan kong nag-aayos nga pala ako ng damit na dadalhin ko sa bakasyon namin ngayon.

Sinagot ko agad ang phone ko without even looking at the caller ID.

"Cara! Nasan ka na daw? Malelate tayo sa flight natin!" ramdam na ramdam ko ang excitement sa boses ni Lia.

"Grabe naman! Bukas pa ang flight pero nandyan na kayo?" tanong ko.

"Oo naman! Jusqu minsan lang 'to. Pagbalik natin work na ulit kami!" sabi niya.

Inipit ko ang cellphone sa leeg at balikat ko saka zinipper ang maleta ko. We're only staying there for 3 days and 2 nights pero madami akong nadalang gamit at sapatos. Gusto ko ding magpa-tan kaya maraming two piece at cover ups and dala ko. Sabi nga ni Liv, it's a crime to wear two-piece twice in a place.

"At least nakabakasyon pa rin." sabi ko trying to be positive.
