Chapter 28 - s'mores

Later that day we ended up in Joeys room. We watched another episode of anime while sawyer filmed some stuff for his next video.

"Hey, I've got an idea!" Joey grinned.

"What?"

"Let's make s'mores!"

"What are s'mores?" I looked around awkwardly. Joey's mouth dropped open.

"You're kiddin right?" he shook his head and laughed, almost like a sign of hysteria.

"No..? should I know what they are?" I looked to him. he glared at me then grabbed my wrist. he lead me out of the room and down the stairs. his steps were harsh and his teeth were gritted.

"Sit." he said, showing me the bar stool. I followed his directions and sat.

He reached into cupboards and pulled out a few things then lined them up on the bench.

"Repeat after me, Crackers, Marshmellows and chocolate." He was like Dora.

"Why--"

"JUST DO IT." he yelled.

"Crackers, marshmellows chocolate?" I raised my eyebrow in confusion.

"Goooood girl." he was now happy.

"I still don't actually know what s'mores are.." I pointed out.

"Ugh." he sighed. "well these are the ingredients. now for the process."

"Ok, go."

"OHMAGAWD!! S'MORES!!" sawyer yelled from the stairs.

"So everyone knows what they are apart from me?" I shook my head.

"You don't know what s'mores are?" sawyer cracked up laughing, holding onto the railing of the stairs for support. I just simply rolled me eyes.

"Go on Joey." I sighed.

"Ok, well first we put a cracker down. *puts cracker down* then on that we put a piece of chocolate, then marshmellow and another piece of chocolate. to top it off, another cracker." he simply explained.

"And then we eat it?" I perked up. there will never be a day I don't perk up about food.

"Not yet." he winked, I sighed. "Carefully, put it on a tray with baking paper on it." He quickly made two more so the loner s'more had friends.

"And bake in the oven for *insert amount of time they take here*" he smiled takin the tray to the oven.

"And then can we eat them?" I smiled again.

"Yes Shae, then we can eat them." he chuckled.

"Yussss!" I fist pumped.

He pulled the tray out of the oven and I almost drowned in my own spit. they looked freakin amazing. my mouth hung low as he admired his creations and placed them on plates.

"Sawyer!" he yelled, aiming up stairs.

"Yo!" he called back.

"S'more!"

Soon came sawyer rushing down the stairs, missing about four at the bottom, he jumped.

Joey put the three on plates and handed one to sawyer, one to me and kept one for himself.

He lead me over to the couches and sat down.

"Okay, I haven't had one of these since... uh, New Year's Eve (now August some time)" he chuckled.

"I haven't had one since... uh, ever?" I smiled.

"I want to watch you take your first ever bite!" he clapped like a 7 year old, a big smiled on his face.

I picked up then sloppy looking thing and awkwardly bit the side of the cracker.

"Come on, get the marshmellow and chocolate!" he laughed. "s'mores is not a food that you eat like a woman."

I opened my mouth as wide as I could and dug my teeth into sticky mess. I bit off a chunk and slowly are it. it was gross and sticky but amazing!

"Ugh! it's so good!" I smiled after swapping then taking another bite. Joey copied.

"I forgot how much I missed these." he said.

After finishing the s'mores, we picked out the mess of cracker, chocolate and marshmellow out of our teeth.

"My teeth, I'm sorry my baby's" he stroked his teeth. yes I said stroked...

"Joey?" I looked to him.

"Yeah?" He looked back at me.

"YOU'RE SO STRANGE!"

A/N
Haha okay so in science after I wrote this chapter we watched some video and there was a thing about s'mores. I almost died laughing...
