Chapter 46 - Untied

"You- you married Sawyer."

my eyes popped open. my breathing was completely normal. i wasnt in shock. i wasnt scared. i was normal.

i shook my head to delete the thoughts, it was just a dream, Sawyer and i are friends. a giggle escaped my lips. And joey would never act like that.

"Shae?" Joey called from outside. "You ok in there?"

"Im fine, how long have i been in for?"

"tops 15 minutes." He says. A big noise comes after. Must be the blender.

i push myself out of the bath and feel my bra, it was still slightly damp so i wrapped a towel around my body and walked out.

"Want a smoothie?" He smiled, cutting up a strawberry.

"Yes pleease." I smile. I thought about the dream again, hes too nice to ever do something like that to me.

"Wheres Sawyer and tyler?"

"Upstairs in his room. probably editing already."

"Cool." I smiled. Joey handed me my smoothie and walked upstairs.

i went back into the bathroom and got my bracelets, phone, bra qnd underwear. i went back up to the upstairs bath room and hung my stuff on that heated rack.

i grabbed one of the two toothbrushes and quickly brushed my teeth, cleaning my mouth. i grabbed joeys moisturriser and quickly applied some onto my face when sawyer came in.

"How was it?" i ask him as he hobbles to the shower. He turns it on then turns to me. As he starts to walk out he slips on some water and starts to fall back. i lunge for him and support his back before he falls.

i lay him carefully on the ground and pull the towel back up hopeing he doesnt notice. he didnt seem to anyway. He slowly gets back up and turns to me. "Thanks." He quicky says then walks back to his room.

Joey walks into the bathroom just after with a concerned look on his face.

"What just happened?"

"Sawyer slipped on some water but hes fine."

"okey, good." He left.

i shut the door and locked it. quickly i put on my slightly still damp underwear and bra back on. I look around for the shirt that i must have left down stair.

*Knock knock* on the bathroom door. i unlock it and walk out into joeys room.

"What happened to the shirt?" He chuckles looking at my body.

"Left it down stairs, too lazy to grab it," i smile innocently. "And i would take it off straight away to get into bed so no point really.

"Hey do you have a spare phone charger?" Tyler says walking into the room. i quickly run for the bed, dive in and cover my body. "intersting one you are shae."

"Yeah, on my desk." Joey points laughing.

He grabs it then leaves, shutting the door behind him.

"I know were just friends, but can we please still kiss. i miss it." Joey smiles shyly.

"I do too." i admit.

He leans in and pecks my lips, then again, and again then he keeps his lips on mine. He grabs onto my hips and pulls me so im hovering over his as he kisses me more.

"Do you still have my..." Sawyer said walking in the leaving again promptly. "Nevermind."

i break the kiss as i chuckle.

"Why Joey?" i say, lying down next to him.

"Why what?" He replied, we both look up at the celing.

"Why is life so difficult?"

"you will have to awnser that yourself sorry." *vibrate* "Sorry." He says again, reaching for his phone.

"Maia?" i ask.

"How'd you kbow" he looks up to me then back at the phone and scrolls.

"You face changed."

"oh." He says. "Jack and finn are coming in 3 days. When they get here, all 5 of us will talk."

"is that what it says?"

"Well she doesnt say anything about you but you really do be to be there."

"Ok, i guess." I hint a smile. His mood comepletly changed and his eyes wers suddenly full of emotion. I quickly pecked him and that slightly regained his smile.

"Its late, we should probably rest." I smile, cuddling up to him.

"I agree, its been a hell of a week." He says, pugting his phone back on the table. "Goodnight Beautiful."

"Good Night Joey." I say back as he kisses me ob the cheek.

"Shae, are you ok?" Sawyer said rushing to my side, kissing me gently on the lips.

"Sawyer, whats happening?" I ask as he starts to untie my wrists.

"Joey kidnapped you once he found out were getting married."

"We-were getting married?" I stuttered.

Once i was fully untied Sawyer picks me up and spins me around.

"Yes! Arent you excited!" He goofyly smiled.

"But i thought i was with Joey?" Man im confused.

"You broke up with him after he tried to have sex with you." He said putting me back down.

"When was this?"

"A month ago? Why does it matter, Joeya probably run away anyway so we can live haplily together." He smiled kissing me more passionatly this time.

There was a large bang, almost deafening me, Sawyer looks down and sees blood running from his stomach and falls onto his knees. Hes been shot.
