Chapter 8 - Duck duck goose

"Uhh, editing?" I looked around.

"Doing like cuts and sound effects, colour correction, adding links, pop up bars, end credits, introduction... Blah blah blah." Connor went on.

"And how may I do that?" I asked confused.

"I'll teach you!" Joey smiled brightly.

"Ok, later though, but what shall we do now?" I smiled.

"Truth or dare!?" Maia's face lit up.

"How about no, last time I played truth or dare I made out with a cactus, no he was not a good kisser." Sawyer cringed. Everyone couldn't help but laugh.

"Well come up with something else mr smarty pant!" Maia whined like a child.

"Uhhhh, I'm not suggesting we do this but I was just wondering, does any of the youtubers skate?" I smiled

Everyone looked at each other then promptly started to laugh, alot.

"Do youtubers skate! Haha wow Shae you are funny!" Connor laughed scarily

"It was a serious question..." I looked around, confused, again.

"Pretty much all youtubers do, well they penny, but that's still skating." Maia said, not laughing but about to.

"Yeah, penny, that's what I ment, I love to penny, no one else from school did though, it was too boyish." I sighed, stupid memories from home.

"We should all go sometime, like a big party." Joey smiled brightly.

"A welcome to the world of YouTube party!" Sawyer added.

"Naew, that's so cute guys!" I felt flattered.

"Who said it was for you? We might have another friend that we met at an airport and that we took home with us." Joey said with a straight face.

"Oh, well ild love to meet her." I winked.

Hours past with just talking and getting to know each other, yes again. I felt like I new as much about them as their parents, or even more.

Joey has made out with 3 guys on camera, Sawyer has been completly naked in camera (but not showing 'parts' of course) Maia used to date Sawyer and Connor has a secret tattoo on his pelvis bone.

"Strange bunch you people are." I chuckled.

"Wait till you meet our friends, that's when the craziness will start." Connor added.

"Well I need to get home and look after hitch, Connor and Maia you need a ride home?" Sawyer asked.

"Could you drop me off at Jenn and Andreas?" He smiled. Sawyer nodded.

"That's sweet I'll just walk." Joey laughed.

"I thought you and ms Shae would want some 'alone time'" Sawyer winked to us.

"Oh yeah we need to do the editing!" I perked up, excited, I alway have liked to learn new skills.

"That's not what I was thinking but what ever floats your boats," Sawyer sighed. "Have fun."

The three of them left and it was just me and Joey sitting on the ground.

"So! Editing time!?" Joey fist pumped in sarcasm.

To be completely honest it was freakin boring. BUT, I did complete my first video.

"Want to put it up now?" Joey smiled his super white teethy smile.

"Uhh, how?" I questioned.

He lent over me and went through the steps of uploading.

'12 minutes to render.'

"Uhh, rendering can suck balls." Joey laughed.

"What should we do for, 11 minutes and 39 seconds?"

"Lets play duck duck goose." Joeys face lit up in a smile.

"Uhh, with two people? That could be intersting." I laughed.

"I go first!" He jumped up like a freaking anime character.

"Duck, duck, duck, duck, duck duck, duck, GOOSE" Joey yelled.

I stood up and ran, chasing Joey around the room. He suddenly sat down and tripped over his leg and flew right over him.

"Haha! Are you ok?" Joey couldn't stop laughing.

"Haha... Yes... Kinda..." I said between laughs.

I tried to put myself but the laughing just couldn't let me. I hated my laugh. Always have and always will. It's a dorky laugh and people always laugh at me because of it, especially when I let out a cheeky little snort.

"Now it's your turn!"Joey chuckled.
