Chapter 54 - Lifes a Mess

"Joey?" i gasp for air, lying on the ground still.

"Again tomorrow?" Maia smiles, flopping out of the covers.

"No! Joey no!" I cry, I have no energy, I can't move, my body is cramped up on the floor.

My eyes shoot open, panting, desperate for air.

"Shae? Shae!" joeys voice yells.

"Joey?" I question, sharp pain in my body, I'm stiff and can't move.

"What were you doing?" He asks, leaning over to pick me up, scooping under my knees and supporting my back, I would help, but I cant.

He lift me above the ground and my head flops down, looking at the ground. a mess of glass, water and red stairs the carpet.

"Joey what happened?" I ask, falling drowsier. Was the dream real, was it Maia again?

"You went to get some water, when you came back you fainted." he says. Maybe I was sleepwalking again. I always did back home but ended up getting over it when I moved.

I move my mouth, but this time no words come out. My eyes lose their colouring, everything is black and white, is this what dying feels like?

I clench my jaw but it sends a jolting pain throughout my body. I shut my eyes, hoping it will end quicker and lay still.

"Pancakes?" Joey smiles, holding a fresh plate of pancakes and fruit.

"Wait what?" I say, shaking my head. My body is clear of glass cuts, what has happened.

"I know, seems funny, me being up so early and making you breakfast, I just thought you looked so beautiful lying there, I didn't want to disturb you." he says, placing the collection of food on the desk next to the bed.

"But what about the... and the..." I say pointing outside to where the mess was, nothing was there.

"What about the what?" He asked, very confused, as was i.

"Don't worry." I shake my head, I don't need him worry about me, I've caused him too much trouble already.

Short but that recovers from the cliffhanger :) something came up this week that was quite a big thing in my life so things will get quite different. I've also started my YouTube channel meaning I'm focusing more on that for a bit. that's for all the support an espically getting me to 50k! holy Joey graceffa! and omg storytellers season 2 <3 xxx love you all, next chapter up in less then two weeks?
