Chapter 58 - Making plans

I grabbed my laptop and let joey log into his Netflix account as I didn't have one. we scrolled through the options.

"Finding Nemo? the start is pretty scary." Connor smirked. I could tell he wasn't a big fan of scary things.

"Hmm maybe we should go with a romance?" I suggested, "but it's just awkward cause you would be like third wheeling.

"I wouldn't mind, I love romance." he laughed.

"Well if you want you can give someone a call and see if they want to come over?" joey smiles.

"I'll see if Tyler's free." he said, standing up and dialling his number while he entered the next room.

A guy wasn't what I was thinking but I love Tyler and would love him here.

I snuggled up to joey as we scrolled through the romantic movie list.

"That one! that one!" I yelled, jumping up and down while pointing at the movie cover on the screen.

"Shae," he laughed, bringing his hand up to his ear. "I'm sitting right next to you.

"Please can we watch it! pleaseeeeee." I continued to jump up and down on the couch while holding onto his arm. he was clearly unimpressed.

"But-"

I put my mouth on his before he could finish the sentence then pulled away smirking.

"Fine." he glared to me.

"Tyler's on his way and he's bringing troye, have we decided on a movie yet?" he said, sitting back down in the seat he was previously sitting in.

I looked to joey who was unimpressed by my amusement. "the fault in our stars." he sighed.

"You know you're excited." I smiled to joey and put my head on his shoulder.

"Okay I guess I am a bit but I'm a grown man who shouldn't be." he said in his man voice.

"Well I'm excited for it." Connor shrugged. "It's a good movie."

"See joey, at least someone has good taste in movies." I smiled. "I'm kidding, I still love you."

The sound of foot steps and talking came up the driveway and Connor shot il to get the door. I quickly kissed joey one last time when he wasn't looking which made him smile again.

"Hello!" Tyler's beautiful voice rung through the house as he and troye hugged Connor. "Shayla, Graceffa!"

We both stood up and hugged both boys. "where's the pizza?" Tyler said, looking at the bare coffee table.

"Shut up, it's coming." Connor laughed siting back down. you could tell his mood has already increased.

Joey connected the laptop to the tv and pressed play. The stupid ads played as all the boys got comfy and wrapped the blanket that was on the couch around them.

I quickly went into the kitchen and grabbed a block of chocolate and put a bag of popcorn into the microwave to cook while we waited for the pizza.

"Omg that smells good girl." Tyler said

as I came back into the room with the popcorn bowl.

The out the bowl on the table and watched the multiple hands reach in for a handful of the stuff.

The opening scene of the movie started and I looked over onto Connor who had his head rested on Tyler's shoulder.

"Joey?" I whispered to him through a awkward part of the movie.

"Yeah?" he said, looking down at me on his lap.

"I forgot to get the pizza delivered, we have to go get it." I said, looking up into his beautiful eyes.

"Do you want me to go with you?" he smiled sweetly.

"If you wanna?" I smirked, I was more intending on just him going but I wouldn't mind for a quick little drive through the night with him.

"I was enjoying the movie but ok." he winked before leaning down to kiss me quickly.

"Oh we can pause if you want to see it?" troye said, sitting up.

"Oh it's fine we wont be long." joey said back.

"Nah, nah, we'll pause it, the good parts coming up soon and I don't want joey to miss it." Connor chuckled.

"Ok, we'll be back soon, feel free to do what ever." I waved my hand spastically.

The drive was nice, we had the speakers blasting and the city lights were aluminising the night skies.

"Joey?" I asked him as he was at a red light.

"Shayla?" he said back, looking to me with his hands still on the steering wheel.

"Christmas is in a few weeks." I smiled.

"Oh wow, yeah it is." he looked away, back at the lights.

"I was wondering what you were going to be doing? are you going to stay with your family?" I sighed, looking down at my feet.

"I'll probably be going back home, we have a Christmas dinner each year."

"Oh." I blushed looking out the window.

"You should come!" he smiled, eyes brightening up. "you can meet my family and have fun in the snow and we can sing carols together and build snowmen."

"I don't have any money left Joey, I'm broke."

"We can drive back, we can have a road trip and see America together and sleep under the stars and kiss a lot because man do I love your lips on mine." He grabbed my hand and quickly peaked my lips before the lights finally turned green and he was driving again. I bit into my bottom lips and looked down to my feet again.

"I would love that.". I smiled.

Oooooo, but now that means I have to keep writing for awhile, I'm nearly at 60 chapters :o whatttttt, I'm not too sure how many more I should write, although I do very much love this book and have a billion more ideas for it. I'm also currently writing a 5sos fanfic and another just general story but they aren't my main focus right now so maybe I'll post one when I get to like 100k reads or something? :o that's a weird thought.

Ps, thoughts on the new cover? I was bored and thought the girl in the last cover looked a bit too young for Joey so yeah, also this one has a cat (suppose to be Sud the cat from the wry first chapter but idk) in it so its so much more like me ;))) I like it though and hope you do too :* mwah x meow
