Chapter 7 - First video

We scoffed the pizza with in 15 minutes and it was already 3:30. We sat around the 4 pizza boxes and talked about ourselves. We learnt a lot from each other and I realised what I actually missed out on growing up, a actual friend.

"Sooo." Maia said breaking the silence.

"What do we do now?" Sawyer added.

Everyone looked at each other then just looked back at the empty boxes of pizza.

"Well I need to vlog today. Ill go get my smaller camera." Joey said getting up of the ground.

"Vlog?" I asked the remaining people in the group.

"A video blog." Connor said in a duh-like voice.

"O, righty ho." I looked around.

"Well hello there!" We hear joeys voice over in the next room. "As you all know I love meeting new people, I meet a random at the airport yesterday and now I'm in her house!"

His voice got louder as he walked into this room.

"This is Shae." He smiled, he turned around the camera and I did a little awkward wave. I could feel my cheeks going rosy.

"Go over onto her channel and subscribe, click on this box here or click the link in the description." He said pointing to a random area of nothingness.

"What's he pointing at?" I whispered as he left the room.

"When he edits and stuff he'll put a link there, you'll see once it goes up. The magic of editing goes a long way." Sawyer smiled.

2 minutes later after Joey finished his vlog we re-made our circle and discussed ideas for a first video of mine.

"Short and sweet, it needs to describe you and do it do people get to know you." Connor brainstormed.

"So really just a 'get to know me' video?" I summed up his sentence.

"Exactly.

We discussed more ideas then decided on a About Me Tag video.

We set up the camera and lights in the same place Joey and Sawyer had it and I sat in the chair with Joey to my left and Connor to my right.

Maia flicked her finger, telling us the camera was on.

"Hey guys its shae!" I started.

"And I'm joey!"

"And I'm Sawyer!" Connor laughed. "Not really, I'm just Connor."

"Well, anyway.. Today I'm doing the About Me tag so that means... You're going to have to get to know me!" I smiled flinging my arms in front of the boys faces.

"So, Connor. Tell us something that I wouldn't know about you." Joey smiled his million dollar smile.

"One thing you guys probably don't know about me is that I love Arizonas." He grinned cheekily.

Joey glared at him and he just shrugged.

"What about you Shae?" Joey asked.

"Hmmm... One thing you don't know about me is that I am in love with Macklemore." I nodded.

"Oh! Me too!" Connor cheered. "Favourite song?"

"White Walls." I answered. "You?"

"Otherside!"

"Sweet, what about you Joey? Who's your favourite artist?"

He looked up at the roof and thought

"Uhh Lana Del Slaay. He replied, putting on a sassyface.

"Oh my gosh! Me too. Okay, what is your most embarrassing moment?"

Connor and Joey looked at each other.

"Joey...?"

"Connor...?"

"Someone go!" I laughed.

"Well, when I was in the third grade, I thought that I was gay. Cause I could draw, my uncle was and I kept my room straight." Connor winked.

"Connor, very funny." I sarcastically said roiling my eyes. Joey stayed all quiet.

"What about you Joey?" I smiled to him.

"The first time I met Sawyer." He looked to sawyer out of the shot.

"Haha! I remember that!" He started laughing.

"Oh tell, tell." Connor smiled evily.

"Well it was last year, I think, sawyer and I, Louis Cole, Sam and Maia were at a party, Maia had invited me to. I got insanely drunk and apparently I jumped into the pool clothes-less." He laughed.

Everyone was laughing, especially Sawyer.

"Oh the horid sight! I will never unsee it!" He cringed.

"I don't remember that? Should i? Maia added in but also laughing.

"Oh silly Maia, you were more drunk then Joey!" Sawyer laughed.

"And how we're you not? When are you not drunk at a party?" Connor pointed out.

"You realise we're still recording?!" Sawyer laughed trying to avoid the comment.

"Oh shit, uhh have a good life, byeeeee!" I yelled smiling at the camera.

"Wow, great first video," Maia chuckled. "Now to enter the world of editing!"
