Lets Take a Swim!

You sit down next to Kuma and Jiren in Ms. Luma's class, still thinking about Taehyung. The thought of him being so nice never left your head. It was kind of awkward, you won't lie. He caught you staring at him so you quickly looked away.

"Thanks again class for the wonderful projects you all turned in, it all came out so great. But I have another project for you." She said which surprisingly, the class didn't groan in irritation. Everyone just silently looked ahead waiting for her next words.

"I haven't done this in forever and I know you all did this before. You have a pile of marshmallow minis and a pile of toothpicks. Whoever builds the highest tower wins and earns a prize." The class silently cheered.

"Didn't we do this in elementary school?" Taehyung asked in a low tone. Ms. Luma just giggled and nodded.

"Yup! And you all grown a lot since then so maybe you will be able to do it more efficiently." She said passing out the supplies. "And you all have the same group that you had during the last project."

You and Jiren smile at each other while you hear Kuma silently groan. You both turn towards her as she lets her face fall into her palms irritatedly.

"I have to work with Kristen again..." She whispers as you pat her on the back trying to comfort her.

"Good luck." She sighed and pulled her head away from her hands revealing her red face. She shook her head and secretly pointed to Taehyung.

"Good luck with you. You have him in your group." She whispered and walked over to her group. You faked a smile to her. You know his attitude is going to change because he is at school and he is near people.

Taehyung slowly makes his way towards your table and sat down next to you, watching Ms. Luma walk your way with a handful of toothpicks and marshmallows. She puts them in two separate piles on your desk.

She walks back up to the front of the room and gave us a big bright smile.

"Alright, the timer is set for 5 minutes. So you can begin in 3...2...1... go."

You reached out your hand to grab a marshmallow but it got caught by Taehyung holding you back. You pulled your arm out of his grasp and looked at him confused.

"I have an idea." You nodded slightly and move out of the way for him to do whatever. You don't bother replying, but you just see Jiren glaring at him like he did something wrong.

Taehyung puts multiple marshmallows forming a circle as the base stuck the toothpicks in every one of them and stuck the marshmallows on the toothpicks and on and on and on. Although surprisingly it is actually doing pretty good.

"30 more seconds left!" Ms. Luma announced. Taehyung smirked and lifted up his head to see where everyone is at. He looks at Kumas table and gets wide-eyed. You cant help but widen your eyes too, because it is so high that they are standing on chairs to reach the top.

"We need to hurry!" Jiren yelled as Taehyung started stacking everything at a rapid pace. He is carelessly stacking everything and it looks like it's about to collapse in any second.

"3!"

Now

"TIME!" As she announced that the timer went off and your tower fell over making everyone in our group groan in frustration.

"Aw, you guys had a nice run! But congratulations to Kristen's group, who has the tallest tower." Kristen smiled and bowed to Ms. Luma, being too full of herself.
