The Paper

(A/N: I am now writing Jimins imagine, I just made the first chapter!! So if you want, check that out.)

-Your P.O.V-

You swear that this is the way out, from what you saw there was like no trees. It shouldn't take that long to get there, you hope.

"Are you sure this is the right way?" He asked you unsurely. You nodded your head as you point in front of you. You can see in the distance that there are fewer trees.

"Mhm, look," You hummed as you see Taehyung look in the direction you are pointing too. He soon nods and started to jog.

"I see," He exclaimed as his jogging pace got faster, you jogged along beside him. Feeling a spark of hope ignite in your chest as the path started to clear up.

"It's right there!" You yelled as you both sprinted to the cleared path. As you got closer, you see that the sun is peaking through the trees.

But something looks a little bit off, but you cant put your finger on it. So you kept on running without saying a word.

While you were running, you looked at Taehyung, which he had a confused expression. Today has been filled with a whole ride of emotions;

Confusion,

Anxiousness,

Relief,

Frightened,

Affection,

Wait... affection? You know that he feels that way towards you, because of what he said to Rapmon. But you're still trying to deny it, even though it's hard. Although you remembered you basically showed affection to him yesterday, staring into his dark glistening eyes.

Fine, I'll just give into it... -You thought to yourself as you are starting to get out of breath from the running.

You were running closer and closer to the edge of the forest, you were so close. But then you finally see what's off, you spotted that the ground just ends. Is it just a hill going downward? You doubt it, because that must be a really steep hill.

As you were right there exiting the forest, you realized it was a cliff.

"Taehyung, stop runni---" Still lost in thought, you tripped over a giant stick. You felt a scream exit your mouth when your upper half of your body was going to fall right off the cliff. You can see how high up you were, you would definitely not survive the fall, especially because there are rocks down there.

As you could feel gravity pulling you down, you could also feel Taehyungs hands grasp onto your arms and pull you towards him, so you wouldn't fall to your death.

He pulled you back away from the cliff, though your heart is running 100 miles per hour at the moment.

"You really want to die today, don't you?" He sighed as he held you in his arms from the back of you. You chuckled nervously at his remark.

"Apparently," You replied as he let go of you. From the realization of him hugging you from behind, you blush a little bit, lowering your gaze.

"Just be careful next time," You nodded and looked back up at him to see him looking down at you. Which made you quickly shift your gaze again to the side.

"I'm sorry that I lead us the wrong way," You apologized. He just scoffed and rubbed your head, making you jump a little bit.

"Don't be, princess," Taehyung said, taking his hand off your head and started to walk ahead. You pouted at him while you followed.

As you were walking, you felt something push against your leg in your pocket. You reached in and took out that folded paper Jungkook had given you.

"Oh yeah," You unfolded the paper that had shown Jungkooks chicken scratch of a handwriting. Wait, is this a map?

"What's this?" Taehyung asked looking over your shoulder. You showed it to him as he held the paper in his hands.

"I think this is a map to get out of here," You replied to him. He shifts the paper in his hands multiple of times before he handed it back to you.

"Who gave this to you? Did you make it?" You shook your head at his question.

"No, when they were taking us here. Jungkook secretly handed me this and told me to open it up while we were in here."

"Well, this sure as hell better be accurate," Taehyung said. You looked at the map and examined it. It shows an arrow to where the rock is, you just need to find out where you are.

Just before you can figure this all out, the wind took it out of your hands and blew it in the air. You tried to reach for it, but the breeze is carrying it too fast and too high.

You and Taehyung exchanged glances before charging after it. This map is your only hope to get out of here, and it easily slipped out of your hands.

The breeze is making the paper fly at a fast speed which makes you and Taehyung exhausted. Then to your horror, it dropped in a puddle.

"Why the hell is there a puddle here? It didn't even rain!" You yelled as Taehyung retrieved the paper that had landed in the puddle. He gave you a disappointed look at she showed you the paper.

"It's all ruined," He exclaimed as you looked at the soggy piece of paper. The ink smudged everywhere and is dripping down the paper, making it unreadable.

"What do we do now?" He asked you with a disappointed tone.

"I guess we take the matter into our own hands," You said while looking around. "On the map, it said that the rock we have to meet at is all the way on the west side."

"Well, who knows what direction we are facing now, it could be anywhere," He said standing there. He is right, no doubt, but damn why does this forest have to be so big?

"I guess we should just head this way.." You said unsurely as you begin to walk straight ahead. Taehyung silently follows behind you, although his grumbly stomach broke the silence.

"C-Can we find something to eat? I'm starving," He said, holding up his index finger. You giggle and nod your head. The thought of getting out of here made you ignore the fact that you're starving as well.

"Yeah, let's go searching for food. Meet me back here? Just don't travel far," Taehyung nodded as he wandered off a little bit in search of food.

You searched for food too, although you don't see any animals you can hunt down. (You don't want to anyway). So you look through bushes instead, not finding as much in here.

Suddenly, you came across a bush with nothing but red and black berries. You started to gather them, at least as much as you could carry.

"Taehyung! I found berries," You yelled to him as you looked at the bush. You didn't recognize the berries, but it sure does look delicious, it even has a nice sweet smell.

You popped a handful into your mouth, feeling the nice smooth texture rub against your tongue. Then you soon bit into it, making the juice explode inside. If you had to describe the taste, it would be a mixture of grape and blackberries.

You heard Taehyungs footsteps approach you, and he slowly backs up seeing you.

"(Y/N)... Your eyes," You gave him a confused look. "They are turning bloodshot."

You gasped as you spat the remaining berries out of your mouth, although it was too late. You already swallowed a bunch.

Suddenly, your vision started to go purple, and Taehyung disappeared.
