The Creature

A few hours later from all the crazy stuff that had happened, it became night time. You guys didn't even think of shelter earlier, it just slipped your mind. So you both took cover underneath a tree.

You have no idea what time it is, but as always you are wide awake. You are cuddled with Taehyung for warmth, you don't know why its colder in the forest. It's probably burning hot outside of there.

You and Taehyung are leaning against a tree with you cuddle up against his chest. You look at him and it seems to be that he is sleeping, so you try your best not to wake him up.

You sigh silently feeling your shoulders lift up and slowly drop down, hoping that the sudden movement didn't wake him. Which thankfully, it didn't.

You look around the forest and you just observe whats going on. Mainly just watching birds fly past you along with bats, and some squirrels and chipmunks run along past you. Nothing that's out of the ordinary.

"Still awake?" You looked up to see Taehyung staring at you, feeling a little bit startled from the voice that arose.

"Mhm, sorry. Did I wake you?" You asked him. He just shook head in response.

"No, I've been awake. I've just been relaxed," He replied, making you a feel a little bit relieved. You sighed again and watched the leaves on the trees move from the sudden breeze. Finally, the breeze struck you both, making you shiver.

Taehyung pulled you in closer when he felt you shake, which produced more body heat. You nuzzled his chest as you curled up in a ball next to him, hearing a slight chuckle from him.

"You're freezing," He stated as you nodded your head. He let go of you as you felt the coldness wrap around you. So you hugged your knees and tried to contain the heat that you have. Taehyung unzipped his sweatshirt and motioned you to crawl on his lap.

As you did so, you huddled against him, resting your head on his shoulder. Since he couldn't zipper his sweatshirt back up with you in it, he wrapped his arms and the sweatshirt folds around you.

"Better?" He asked you. You nodded your head slightly on his shoulder, feeling the goosebumps on your arms form from the temperature change. You love how you can feel him gripping your sides, and that you can feel his chest lift every time he breathes in.

"Thank you," You whispered slightly. He didn't say anything, but he just gave you a bright smile, which felt like it lit up the whole forest.

You smiled back and you tried to wrap your arms around him from underneath his sweatshirt. You did it successfully and he nuzzled your cheek, making you giggle silently.

"You're so cute," He whispered in your ear. You just shook your head in disagreement with his opinion. Yet you have a feeling he's going to argue it.

"I think so," He said with sincerity. You looked into his dark eyes, even when there is no light near us whatsoever, his eyes are still shining. It looks like he is looking into your soul, you feel so see thru.

Feeling overwhelmed by the mesmerizing eye contact, you turned your head away. But Taehyung moved your head back towards him by grabbing your chin with his fingers, so you both had eye contact longer.

"Your eyes are so beautiful," He whispered slowly. You felt your cheeks heat up and you smiled at his compliment. You feel speechless so you didn't say anything, but that felt like it was the right thing to do.

Then he moved your hair behind your ear and stroked your cheek while smirking. You try to resist the urges to kiss him, but it hard at this point. The moment is perfect for you to do so, even hearing his breath makes you want to kiss him. So instead you tighten your grip around his body, which you can feel his muscles as you do so.
