Jirens Confession

After what happened at Taehyungs house, he offered to walk you home, but you tried to deny it. But kept on insisting it, so you gave up and he happily walked you. He took your clothes out of the wash and dryer and handed it to you. So you changed into them before you left. But now you two are walking, but you were still planning what to tell your parents where you were.

"How do you think your parents would react to your absence?" You asked him, which he just shrugged.

"Probably groundation, at most," He replied, which lead you to nodding. "What about you?" (Is it just a Mainer thing to say "groundation?" because a lot of you guys say it isn't a word... Here in Maine, we say it all of the time)

"I honestly have no clue," You muttered as you watch your feet drag along the pavement while your walking.

"I wish you the best," He said while wrapping his arm around you.

"You as well," You said as he gives you a reassuring smile. You both finally made it to your house and you stand there.

"Well, I think it's time to part for today," You said as he nods.

"I'll see you tomorrow, princess," He said, whispering the last part. You glared at him, but you felt your cheeks burning up. You can just imagine looking like a three year old that is pissed off giving him this face.

He just chuckled and planted a tiny kiss on your forehead, before waving goodbye.

"I'll see you tomorrow at school," He said as he was walking back to his house, not breaking the eye contact.

"See you tomorrow, bye!" You said while waving before you entered the house. You walked into the familiar house to be greeted by your mom sitting at the counter, already home for work.

"Hey honey, how was school?" She asked you while she flipped a page from the book she was reading. You were puzzled on how she didn't ask you anything about it. You have a feeling that she would soon though.

"It was fine, I guess," You fibbed as you sat down in front of her and started eating an apple, since you were starving. You looked at the clock to see it is 5:47 (17:47), you thought it was earlier than that.

"Ah, I see," She replied as she continued to read her book. You nervously eat the apple and wait to see if she says anything about the subject, though she never bothered to say anything else. So you went upstairs and just sat on your bed, full of wonder.

"Maybe dad will ask me when he get's home," You told yourself, making your heart beat faster. You hope not, because you don't want to deal with any bullshit anymore throughout the week.

Though when dad came home, he didn't mention anything either. No one did, thank god. But like you knew, mom and dad don't care what you do... But they should have been concerned at least, what happened if you would have been stolen? Though as you were getting ready for bed, dad came in and sat on the edge of the bed.

"I'm surprised you didn't ask where we were," He said while booping you on the nose. "Hard work from studying, I guess?"

You looked at him in confusion and let off a nervous chuckle, it's time to play stupid. "Ah, Yes! Upcoming test next week on Monday, I'm anxious about it," You replied nervously, massaging your temples.

"Don't worry, you'll be fine," He said as you let out a sigh of relief.

"But yeah, where did you guys go?" You asked, did they think you were home the whole time they were gone? If so, then that's relieving.

"Ah, nowhere special. Just on a beach, we figured that you might have wanted your alone time," He said while he got up from the bed and tickled your feet, making you kick his hand away. You pouted a bit. 'The beach sounds like fun...'
