Puppy Love

"Thank you for coming over, guys!" Suga yelled as you and Taehyung exit the house. You two were the last ones out, as you both flashed Suga a smile.

"It was no big deal! Thank you for the puppy!" You said, as you felt Maru nuzzling against your shoulder. He is so soft and he gives off so much body heat! You feel as if you are in the happiest of mood, like nothing could change that. Suga sends you both a warm smile before waving it off.

"No problem! I haven't even seen him act so happy until you two came along. It's quite cute." Suga replied. You smiled, but then his words finally processed. He wasn't so excited nor happy until he saw us? -You thought to yourself. You and Taehyung exchange glances as if you two were thinking the same thing. It's a bit strange.

Suga looked at you both in curiosity as he simply shrugged it off. Taehyung wrapped his arm around you and flashed Suga a smile before heading off. You all waved and you both started to head off.

"Hey, (Y/N).." Suga said quickly. You stopped in your tracks and spun around, getting your attention.

"Hm?"

"I hope you know that I am sorry, about my attitude from the beginning." Suga apologized, though you found yourself shaking your head. You remember how much of an asshole he was in the beginning, but it is as if he has changed..? Or he had just come to terms that you are nothing like he presumed you to be. Anyway, you forgive hi,m.

"It's no problem, really!" You said reassuring him. He smiled and massaged the back of his neck.

"Alright, I just wanted to make sure." He said as he waved one final time, watching you and Taehyung walk away towards your house.

"Well, this whole month had been a bumpy ride." You pointed out to Taehyung, you can see him nodding from the corner of your eye.

"Yeah, remember how we barely ever talked before all this happened." You shuddered at his statement. "Mhm.."

He chuckled a little bit. "It's funny to see things change so fast." He said, looking over towards you. You see that he is giving you a cute closed smile.

"Uh-uh. I never thought we'd be this close. Especially since you hated me back then." You stated as you looked down at your feet, while petting Maru in your arms.

"I actually never hated you." He replied, which made you look up at him in wonder. It seems as though he did, before you started going to the lake and all.

"Really?" You asked, which he nodded.

"It's true. I always admired you from afar, and I'd always be quiet and/or bossy to make myself seem cooler... but... whats the point?" His pace started to go faster. "Since now I have you with me." He said warmly, which now you could feel your cheeks heating up.

"Is that so?" You giggled slightly as he patted your head. You never knew that he liked you before, it never seemed like it. It is quite a surprise, actually. Yet, very flattering, and ironic... How you guys end up together in the end anyway.

You guys end up in front of your house as he enters inside with you. You clutch Maru close as he begins to sniff the new aroma.

"This is your new home, buddy!" You said happily, which lead Maru to let out a cute little squeaky bark. You giggled as you sat on the couch and set him on your lap freely. Taehyung chuckled as he made his way over to you.

"I have to go home now, princess. Mom had been texting me, she is furious." You nod your head in understanding, as he gave you the two pistols and a wink pose.

"Give Maru some loving for me when I'm gone?" You smiled.

"Of course!"

"Alright." He chuckled as he got closer and gave you a kiss on the lips before heading out the door. "Catch you later."
