One Day Past

You and Taehyung sat by the tree, patiently waiting for the morning to come. You both never went to sleep last night because of all the stuff that went on, and luckily no more of those things showed up. But you two still kept guard for them, but as time went on, you guys just assumed that they'd stop coming.

"I just had a thought," Taehyung began to speak. You looked over towards him to show that you're listening.

"What if there are more unknown creatures in here, other than the wolf things," He brings up a good point. There can't be just one monster in the forest, but can some be nice? Are the all mean? Who knows...

Suddenly, Rapmon's voice appeared again;

"Good Morning you two! We are now on your second day in the forest! You both should be careful though, each day it gets more complex, so imagine what tomorrow is going to be like..." You hear him say, which makes you gulp.

"Oh, have you guys run into the Interitum's yet? Did you give them a smoky surprise? I bid you both farewell, and give Mors a hug for me..." With that being said, Rapmon hung up. You and Taehyung exchange glances after the call.

"Interitum's?" Taehyung whispered to himself, as you are lost in thought. You have never heard such a creature.

"So, do you think that is the monster that attacked us last night?" You asked him as he nodded his head in agreement.

"It'd make sense, he added a smoke pun, and when we kill them that turn to smoke," Taehyung replied. Rapmon said they were called Interitum's. They are creepy, you hope they won't attack you again tonight, although you know they will.

Taehyung held his hand to where is throat was and coughed a couple of times, he just sighed and looked at you. The cough didn't sound good at all, it sounded kind of dry.

"(Y/N), we need to get something to drink, or we'll get dehydrated," Taehyung ordered. It was a major subject change, but it is a good idea.

"Right, but do you know where to find water in this place?" You asked him with curiosity, which he just shook his head.

"No, but there might be a pond or something nearby," He assumed. You hope he is right, so you just took his word for it. So you two just walked off in search of any signs of water.

"So, what do you think about that other thing Rapmon said, I think he called it Mors?" You asked him trying to make conversation, changing the subject back to creatures. You are quite curious about it, plus Rapmon said that each day it will be harder to survive in.

"Well, I don't want to give it a hug..." He said while chuckling. You don't want to either, its just the way Rapmon said it, which kind of made the whole situation uncomfortable.

Just talking and thinking about it kind of worries you, when will you encounter this creature? What other creatures will you encounter next? How much harder will surviving be? You are not ready for whats bound to happen, even though you know that it's going to happen soon.

"Huh.." You looked off to the side to see a fallen tree that looked oddly familiar. Come to think of it, the trees next to it do too. Many of the trees that you two walked by are appearing again, again, and again. You have a feeling that you guys are walking in a circle, even though you know that you are walking straight, not turning at all.

"Um, Tae..."

"Yeah, I have noticed too," He said reading your mind. You both are lost, this does not help your situation at all. But you two keep on walking straight, and you keep on passing the same area over and over again.

"Let's walk a different way," You suggested. Taehyung nodded his head fiercely, agreeing with you. You both stopped walking straight and started to walk to the right.
