Embarrassment

School just ended and you were walking home with Jiren. Kuma usually gets a ride home because she lives on the other side of town. You and Jiren walked out of the school gate and turned the corner. Not paying attention you bumped into someone.

"..." You looked up to see a tall guy with brown hair. He looked down at you and shrugged his broad shoulders. It was Seokjin (Jin).

"Watch yourself, be careful." He gave you a slight smile and walked off again. In your opinion he is one of the nicest guys in bangtan. He's not the nicest guy in the world, but it doesn't matter.

"Woops." You said as you continued to walk with Jiren. He looks at you and patted your head.

"You're such a klutz." He replied looking down at you. Jiren is a few inches taller than you, but he still makes you feel short.

"I know I am, what else is new?" You joked, pretending to fall over to prove his point more. He smiled as you guys turn down another street. You live about 15 minutes away from the school, but it feels like a short walk.

You walk by a cherry blossom tree, which is your favorite kind of tree. It's a nice open space. Surprisingly no one even hangs out around it, it's open for anyone to have a picnic under and to hang out by. But no one does. It's so beautiful.

The wind blows some of the blossoms off the tree, the blossoms are riding the wind which flies everywhere. Also filling the air around us with the scent of the beautiful tree.

"Well, my stop is right here,"Jiren said pointing to his house which is right across the street from us. You tilt your head at him because he usually walks you home.

"I'm sorry, I can't walk you home today. Something happened to the family and I was told to come straight home, it's confidential." You nod understandingly and shooed him off.

"Okay, see you tomorrow!" He nods and waves as he crosses the street. Today was just another day, like every other day. You just can't wait to get home and sleep.

You take a long sigh as you collapse on your bed. You want to sleep, but you are wide awake. But just as you lay down, your mother called for you.

"(Y/N)! Can you go to the store and get me a coffee! You can get yourself something too!" You groan and get up from the bed and walked out of your room and into your mother's room. Her arm was outstretched with a $10 bill in her hand.

"You know how I like it, right?" You nod as you took the money. You walked out of the house and head towards the shop. On the bright side, you have to go past the tree again. You know that would put you in a good mood.

As you walk closer, you can smell the faint scent of the tree. Each step you take, the scent gets stronger. Just realizing that you still had the bill in your hand, you put it into your pocket.

the tree is in sight, and... it looks like someone is by it. Although you can't tell who it is because the tree was too far away. As you get closer, you can see what the person looks like.

"Taehyung?" You whisper to yourself as your pace fastens. He is leaning back on the tree with headphones on. He is moving his foot with the beat of his music, staring off into space. You caught his attention and he watches you as you walk by.

You wave to him, but he showed no sign of caring and looked away from you. You walked on by and shrugged.

"Okay, whatever. He just ruined the beautiful picture of the tree anyway." You whispered to yourself as you are halfway to the shop.

You arrived at the shop and poured the coffee breakfast blend in the cup and a little bit of "half and half" creamer in it. You put the lid on it and you stroll through the shop to see what you wanted.
