The Fall

-Taehyungs P.O.V-

I open my eyes to see myself surrounded by a bunch of trees and one flashlight beside my leg. I sat up and looked around and jumped as I heard Rapmon's voice beaming from off of myself somewhere.

"Good morning! It's your first day to find your way out of the forest, we gave you two a flashlight for when it get's dark. That is the only thing we planned to give you for useful objects, so use it wisely. I bid you good luck." And with that, the voice had disappeared and left me looking around trying to find (Y/N).

Where did his voice come from? Did he place a little-hidden speaker on me while I was unconscious? -I asked myself. I got up from off the ground and picked up the flashlight.

"(Y/N)!" I called her as I ran a little distance, hoping that I'd see her on the way, or get a response. But like I predicted, I got none. My eyes are on guard for her while I'm running past trees.

While I was running, I see someone lying down on the leaves and twigs unconscious. It was (Y/N), I can tell because she was wearing the same clothing as last night. I ran up to her, trying to shake her awake.

"(Y/N), wake up." She groans a little bit and opens her eyes. She lifted her hand up and rubbed her eyes and stared at me. As if she just realized where we are and what happened last night, she sprung up looking around.

"I was hoping that was a dream.." She said quietly while yawning at the same time. She spotted the flashlight next to her and grabbed it, looking at me.

"Well, should we get started?" I asked her, which she nodded. I helped her up and we started to walk together.

I don't even know what time it is, the trees make everything look dark. But for all we know it can be daytime, but I do recall Rapmon saying 'good morning.' We both stumble over some branches, looking left and right for any sign of the exit.

"Oh yeah! I forgot to mention, you both need to find a way to survive in there. It's not like there is a bowl of soup waiting for you out in the open, nor weapons to fight off any creatures... Who am I kidding, what kinds of creatures would be lurking in the forest?" Rapmons voice appeared again, which made (Y/N) look all over the place in confusion.

"Where is his voice coming from?" I shrugged.

"I'm pretty sure they placed a speaker on us while we were unconscious," I replied while continuing our walk. While we were walking, (Y/N) placed her hands on her cheeks and was groaning.

"What are my parents going to do, when they find out I'm missing?" She asked worryingly. It was a pretty good question too, what would my parents do? If anything they'd call the cops and send a search party. Would the search party look for us in here?

Suddenly, I came up with a good idea.

"Hey, I'm going to find a tree and climb it, to see where we can find our way out." (Y/N) nodded and followed me to find a perfect climbing tree. All the other trees either have branches way up high so I won't be able to reach them, or they are all dead and can break any second. I don't trust those ones.

"What about that tree?"(Y/N) points to a tree that looks old and dead. The branches are within reach but it looks like it can fall off. I shake my head because it looks too dangerous.

"No, you will fall and hurt yourself," I said to her. She just shrugged and ran up to it anyway. I sigh and followed her as she wiggled one of the branches.

"It's sturdy enough, I won't fall." She said as she handed me her flashlight and began climbing. Why do I feel that she jinxed herself?

Foot after foot she climbed, she was going pretty fast too. Not too long after, she reached as far as she could go and looked around. She took one hand off the branch and she shields her eyes, perhaps it is bright out.
