Chapter 15- Beach Day

Max's POV

As we headed into Popeye's, we all talked about where we could go after this. Once we all ordered and finished eating, we decided to walk around from here. There were a lot of little shops and whatnot on our way here. It also looked like the sun would be setting any minute now. "Oh look guys!" Exclaimed Shelby. "What is it?" Adam asked. "There's a place for us to go horseback riding!" Shelby said pointing over in the stable's direction. "We can do that while we're here," Adam said. Shelby nodded happily. We continued walking and stopping by a few little shops here and there. Soon it was already too dark for us to see clearly. We headed back to Popeye's, because that's where the rented van was parked at. We all scrambled inside with Adam driving, as usual. Once home it was about 9:30 PM, so everyone headed off to bed since tomorrow was a beach day. I fell asleep pretty quickly.

Shelby's POV

I woke and realized today was a beach day. I quickly got up from my bed and looked through my suitcase for my bikini and a long plain T-shirt to put over it.

I got changed and headed downstairs. Right before walking out of my room, I glanced at the clock in the wall. It read 8:26 AM. I didn't think I would find anyone when I went into the kitchen, but I found Alesa. "Morning Alesa" I said. "Oh hey morning" Alesa said. I could tell she too was already dressed and ready for the day ahead of us. "You excited for later?" I asked her making myself a smoothie. "Yeah, I'm guessing you are too then." She said to me while taking another bite of her apple. We both walked into the living room and continued talking for a while. After a good 10 minutes of us two talking, everyone else showed up in the living room. "Morning guys" Alesa said. "Morning" Em said. "Hey" Max, Red, And Ross said after. "Are all of you ready to go to the beach?" Adam asked us. "Yup." We all answered. Since the beach was just a few blocks down, we got there in like 5 minutes. Everyone basically jumped out of the car, grabbing towels, oversized umbrellas, and the food baskets we brought. Setting everything up was pretty easy. We also had a great spot. By the time Red, Ross, Adam, and Em were in the water splashing each other and Alesa & I were laying on the towels with Max sitting next to me, it was 12:34 PM. "So do you two have any ideas for names yet? I know it's still pretty early, but I'm just wondering." Alesa asked Max and I. "Uh.. I really like the name Jordyn, because its gender neutral. But I'm not sure yet." I said. "I can't really think of any good names, honestly." Max said. "Oh.. I see." Alesa said. We all looked out into the ocean to see Red and Em having their own little splash battle, while Ross and Adam were also having their own battle.

{Time Skip Till 7:30ish}

The sun was barely setting, and it was beautiful. Even more than yesterday's sunset. As we were heading home, everyone agreed to go horseback riding tomorrow. We got into the house, everyone going into their rooms exhausted. I took a shower and got into my cozy bed, and then drifted into a nice sleep.
