*Serena Pov*
I woke up and shielded my eyes from the sun blazing through the opened curtain in my room. I grumbled as I rolled onto my stomach and covered my head with my pillow. Why the fuck was I on the floor? I looked to my bed to see Nicki sprawled out all over it. I slumped back to the floor, getting comfortable on my stomach.
And like the devil was testing my patience this morning, Leah jumped onto my back. She pulled my pillow out of my hands and started poking my cheeks.
"Get off of me you freaking weirdo." I whined trying to hold on to the last bit of sleep I had in me. Leah got off of me, and walked off.
'woah, that was easier than I thought.' I thought to myself. But then Leah suddenly jumped and basically body slammed me on my bedroom floor. "What the hell Leah!" I yelled angriliy. "Rise and shine!" she said sweetly and walked out of my room. I was about to cry at my loss of sleep, but then I saw that it was after 1 oclock and that I should get up anyway.
Once I got dressed and I found Leah, knowing very well that she would be in the kitchen. I swear that girl eats like she's been starving all of her life. She was rumaging through the refrigerator, and I decided to get her back from waking me up from my sleep. I tiptoed over to where she was, and screamed at the top of my lungs. She jumped out of surprise, knocking the back of her head on the refrigerator. As she screamed profanities, I proceeded to roll on the floor laughing.
Once she calmed down she turned to me and shrugged. "I guess I deserved that." she said. I nodded. "yup. don't fuck with my sleep Leah. but anyway, what do you wanna do today? " she thought for a moment before responding. "Just chill I guess? we can call Raena to come over ." she suggested shrugging.
"Alright, I guess that's cool. but Leah," I hesitated before asking her. she raised her eyebrows. "How's Noah doing? "
She froze up, and replied looking anywhere but me. "I'd rather not talk about it." I sighed. "Leah, you can't just hide your feelings from me. I'm your bestfriend. "
"Well, we'll talk about it later. but anyway, lets call Raena." I rolled my eyes at her changing the subject, and she walked off the find her phone.
My eyes were just starting to take in the living room which could've very well been mistaken for a dump. There were red cups virtually everywhere, and the cushions of the couch were out of place. matter of fact, every thing was out of its place. The living room just looked a hot mess.
At that moment, Nicki was making her way down the stairs, and her eyes widened at the mess. "Serena, uou should really clean this up." she said. I raised an eyebrow. "I am. But you and Leah are gonna help." I declared grabbing her arm. she groaned in resistance, but I ignored her. i handed her a trashbag, and when Leah walked in I threw her a broom. "Get to cleaning guys."

When Raena came over, she was able to help us finish cleaning. When we were done we all went up to my room and slumped in our usual positions. Raena was on my bed, Leah on the loveseat, and Nicki and I were on the floor. We decided to waste the rest of the day devouring junk food and watching movies. After a few hours my father stuck his head in to say hi to us, and we barely replied since we were so deep into the movie that we were watching.
Two movies and Fours bags of popcorn later, nicki and I were getting bored, so we started up a game of Never have I ever. everytime we did the thing mentioned, we had to eat one of our five gummy worms. Leah and Raena joined in shortly after and we were all playing.
"Never have I ever had sex." I confessed. Nicki and Raena ate one of their gummy worms. Leah and I turned our noses up jokingly. "Okay, um, never have I ever sucked on someone's toes." Leah said. we all stared at her. "What? its the truth" she said shrugging. "I ain't never gonna suck on no one's grimy ass toes or let someone suck on mine. That's nasty," I declared. Nicki rose her eyebrows suggestively. "I bet you would let Craig suck on your toes." everyone burst out laughing, and I sat there annoyed. "yall ain't shit. " I said.
Just at that moment there was a tiny tap at my window. I walked over to it and pushed the curtain out of the way do I could see it of it. When I realized who it was, I stood there shocked, thinking my eyes were playing tricks on me.
'This isn't funny Jesus.' I thought to myself. The girls walked over to where I was standing and they looked out the window. "Speak of the devil and he shall appear " Leah said laughing with the girls. I rolled my eyes at them and I opened the window. "Why are you outside my window Craig?" I asked looking down at him from my two story window. The only light outside came from the moon, and I could see the nervous expression plastered on his face. "I need to talk to you"
"Well you guys are talking now." Nicki said trying to hold back laughter. I punched her in the arm so she knew to shut up. "Um, I was thinking that you could come down here and we could talk privately. " he said.
"I can't, my dads home, and he would probably hear me if I tried to sneak out." I said.
"Just jump, ill catch you." he said seriously. I looked at him like he was crazy. I would have to jump ten feet down. There was a tree, so I decided that I would just climb down using it.
"Girls, if my dad comes, cover for me." I said as I put my body outside the window, and grabbed a hold of one of the branches. "Don't die." Raena said sarcastically, and I glared at her. "Thanks for the great advice. ill try to keep that in mind" I retorted.
As I climbed down the tree, I had a steady series of movements. I grabbed a branch, but it snapped immediately, making me lose my footing and fall.
Hmm. so this is how I'm going to die.
I felt something warm and hard, and I opened my eyes expcting to see the pearly white gates of heaven, but instead I was met with Craig's face. He was smiling at me, and then I realized that he also had his arms around me, so he must of caught me.
I wriggled my way out of his hands and glared up at the girls. They got the hint and immediately dispersed from the window.
I turned to Craig and crossed my arms across my chest. "So what do you want to talk about?" I asked. He looked uncomfortable as he answered. "Um, Serena, I don't know how to say this, but, I think we should just be friends." he said not looking me in the eyes.
I was honestly surprised. I expected him to be currently asking me to be his girlfriend, not crushing my heart right in his hands. "What ... why? I thought you liked me." I said, my chest tightening.
He still refused to look me in the eyes. "I just think that we would be better off being friends." He said, then walked off into the darkness, leaving me standing there alone and confused. Then it finally processed in my brain that he didn't want to be with me, and I ran over to the front of my house and banged on the door, not caring if I woke up my father. Leah answered the door after a few moments and I collapsed into her arms with tears streaming down my face.
