*Leah Pov*

Chres and I were currently walking along the sidewalk holding hands. He insisted on staying after school so that he could walk me home after volleyball practice, even though I told him that he didn't have to.

I was secretly jubilant that I didn't have to get on his motorcycle, considering that it was thrashed and he had a broken finger. Chres must have sensed my happiness though, because he assured me with a smug look, that the death machine would be repaired in a few weeks.

As we approached my house, I noticed that a very familiar red van was resting against the curb. When I realized who the van belonged to I groaned internally. Why did  it have to be this weekend of all weekends?

Chres was rather confused by my sudden change of mood. "What's wrong Leah?" He asked as we walked up the stairs to my front door. I let out a sigh and turned the knob. "You'll see."

As soon as we stepped into the house, I was ambushed by the three spawns of satan, also known as my eight year old cousins, Catherine, Abigail, and Madison.

"Leah!" they all screamed in unsion. I hugged them all back, then pried them off of me. Catherine, who was the boldest of the three, went up to Chres and looked him up and down. "Are you Leah's boyfriend?"

He nodded and got down on one knee so that he was on her level. "My name is Chres, what's yours?" He asked in a friendly tone.

"Cathy." She held out her hand, and he shook it. "Nice to meet you." Chres then turned to the two other girls. "What are your names?"

"I'm Maddy, and she's Abby. We're all triplets." Madison said. Abby, being the quiet one, hid behind Cathy.

"Hi, Abby." Chres said with a smile. "I like your dress. She didn't look as if she was going to reply, but then she muttered a quick thank you and ran off. Her sisters followed suit, and they all ran upstairs.

"Stop running!" Terrance yelled as the walked past him. He was their eldest brother, and just happened to be the same age as me. He was really chill and laid back, so we never had any problems with each other. When he made his way downstairs, he walked over and gave me a hug.

"Terry, this is my boyfriend Chres, and Chres this is my cousin Terry." I said, introducing the two. They did that weird bro hug thing, then Terry walked off, probably to go make sure that his younger siblings weren't destroying the house.

"They don't seem all that bad. Are there any more of them?" Chres asked, looking amused. I nodded. But before I had a chance to speak, Veronica emerged from the kitchen swaying her hips as she did so. Though she was only 15, she had piled a pound of makeup on her face. She was always trying to act grown, and it irritated the hell out of me.

"Our moms are in the kitchen." She informed me, raking her eyes all over Chres's body. He looked uncomfortable with the lack a space between them, so cleared his throat and took a step back. "And who is this?" She purred.

I stepped in between them and folded my arms across my chest. "That's my boyfriend, and I suggest you keep your young ass away from him, Ronnie." I said, emphasising her nickname. She hated being called that, and I did it on occasions just to piss her off. She stormed upstairs, most likely to my room, and slammed the door shut. Ugh, she was such a drama queen.

I led Chres to the kitchen where my mother and Aunt Flo stood, talking over a a glass of wine. Chres and I greeted them, and my aunt raised her eyebrow suggestively. "And who is this?"

Before I could say anything, my mom spoke up. "This is Leah's boyfriend,  Chresanto." She said with a wide smile on her face.

"That's a very unique name. Where are you from?" Aunt Flo asked, placing her glass in the sink.
