Kiara stood in her living room door frame. She didn't know what to do or say. She just stared at him in awe.

"Well are you going to say something to him or not?" questioned Julie. She was still suspicious how this man knew Kiara. And why he had her sweater.

"Uh.. Um... Thanks?" Kiara said while reaching for the sweater. Kiara was still shocked and confused. She didn't wear that sweater that afternoon. She barley ever wore that blue sweater with sparkles on it. She would have remembered if she did. It was a hideous one, she only kept it because her step-grandmother made it before she passed away. She was the only one from this family that really enjoyed her company. So she only kept it for remembrance.

"No problem," Andrew said breaking Kiara's thoughts. Then he added, "May I come in?" He asked Julie, who nodded still wondering.

A few hours later

Kiara was happy that Andrew got to stay (cause he was new to this town), because that meant she was able to eat a dinner and she didn't get abused. She smiled at the thought, but then Andrew smiled back at her. She hadn't realized she was staring at him. She stopped smiling.

That night Julie had prepared a roast with mash potatoes, salad and rice. She wanted to hear what this young man had to do with Kiara.

"If you don't mind, Andrew, how old are you?" She asked, who got a glare from Kiara's side of the table.

"Twenty" He said.

Wow, he is old, thought Kiara. But then again so was she.

"So what were you doing with a seven-teen year old?" Julie shot the question with cold angered voice Kiara knew to well.

Andrew was shocked. He was supposed to try to get on the good side of Julie. This was going to be hard, he thought.

"Look, ma'am, there is nothing and never will be anything between me and your daughter, I think she would be better with someone else," Andrew stated with his hands up in the air to prove he was innocent. He was interrupted by a snort. He glanced at Kiara.

"Please, I can chose who I want to be with. Plus you wouldn't be the first person I would ask for dating advice." Kiara said with a smirk.

"KIARA?!" shouted her mother.

"What?! I'm just telling him that I can chose who I want to date."

"Enough..." Julie added with an ice cold glare. Andrew could sense the tension between the two women. But he was still applaud by Kiara. She showed confidence and arrogance, Andrew couldn't help but admire how she would become a great Queen for King Thorn. Julie turned back to Andrew.

"I am so sorry for my daughters behavior-" Then she turned back and stared hard at Kiara"- I don't know what has gotten into her lately." Kiara had had enough of Julie.

"May I be excused?" Kiara asked. Julie nodded instantly.

30 minutes later

Once Kiara was able to leave, she grabbed her book, To Kill A Mockingbird, and made her way to her room. She sat on her bed and listened to Julie and Andrews conversation until she got tired and went to sleep with her book laid across her chest.

As Andrew made his way upstairs, he found the beauty asleep on the bed, he couldn't help but smile. He was happy that he would make his King proud, but he would also receive a great amount of gold and money for his family. As he opened her bedroom window, he went back down-stairs and said his goodbyes to Julie, who hoped him a farewell in this town. Then he was gone. But not for long.

As he climbed the roof of Kiara's house, just like he had when he picked up Kiara's sweater, he popped through her window, to find her still asleep. He was lucky she breathed through her nose, because he stuffed her mouth with some cloth, cuffed her hands and feet together, and threw her over his shoulder. She didn't even make a sound.

He climbed out her window, towards the sleeping town, towards the darkness.

Andrew pulled out his cell phone.

"Cecil? Come here. Now. I got the source of Power."
