Kiara's POV

"It was never meant to be this way." Thorn said while looking down at me with sympathy.

"I don't care. Inject her with it already, I still don't like you, and when this is all over," Yana said pointing around the room, "I'm coming for you next."

"Whatever makes you sleep at night." Thorn growled, giving her a side glare. He then focused his attention back on me. "We don't have much time, so I'll make this quick." He promised. " No screams, no pain." he smiled sweetly like it was nothing.

"What are you going to do?" Stupid question yes, but I was trying to stall him like they do in the movies, where villain explains their whole 'master plan' while the hero escapes. I wasn't planning on getting that green liquid injected in me.

"I think you already have an idea." Thorn smiled even more. It look unnatural on him, and it scared me even more, but he was right. I did have an idea of what he was going to do. I felt tears start to form as I knew exactly what Thorn planned and this would be the end for me. Time for plan B.

Leo's POV

I couldn't stop running and looking for her. I had lost Ryan and all i could think of was if I didn't get there on time to save her. I hoped her training classes with Cedric hepled, she would be needing them. I kept running through the crowds of scared people looking and listening for anything that would show me any sign of her. I could feel my lion growl at us for loosing her, but I was ready to give up and neither was he. I eventually became so desperate I was opening every door I could find.

Everyone was already gone and hiding or fighting the hyenas, I didn't have much time till the noticed me, so I tried again with our connection.

Kiara!

I felt like I was falling apart when she didn't answer. I felt weak and just punching anything in way. Before I knew it, my foot connected with a door and it flew off its hinges hitting someone in the process. Realizing what I did I rushed over to the person.

"Hey! You alright?" I asked as I turned over the person. My mouth almost dropped. It was Cedric. His wrists and ankles were ducked tapped together and bruised and claw marks were all over him. "Cedric?" I shook him more gently but still with eagerness.

"Yana, stop ... please ..." He pleaded quietly, almost a whisper.

"It's me, Cedric. It's Leo."

"Leo? What, what are ... Are you doing here? He squinted to look up at me.

"I came here looking for Kiara," I began to untie him from the tape, "but instead I found you. what are you doing here anyway?" I asked as I finished up on the tape.

"I don't really remember, I remember myself at the party until Yana came through ... then it was like I was under some spell. Then I had this strange dream where Yana and Thorn were in here, but I couldn't make out what they're were saying. Next thing I know, I'm here all beaten up and ducked taped with you shaking me." he stated as he rubbed his wrists from the pressure of the tape. "Thanks by the way."

"So you don't remember anything after Yana came in?" I asked more to myself thsn him. I hadn't seen Yana since the lut bresk of hyenas ... where was she? Screams echoed the hallway which made Cedric stiffen up, in panic I suppose.

"What was that?" he looked at me, worried.

"Hyenas." I said simply. Cedric still had the same expression so I continued on. "Thorn's men came minutes after you left. And Ryan took Kiara." I paused as I took a breath."I can't find her."
